  1. Woooo!! So looking foward to this, I'll be watching them on VH1 9:00 PM Central USA time.
  2. This is the best song of their new releases imo, just felt like coldplay to me.
  3. Live for sure
  4. Well that would certainly be interesting.
  5. I imagine this is what happens after a game of football in Europe as well.
  6. Welcome =D
  7. I'm horrified at seeing 'Spies' on these lists. Anyway: 1. Daylight 2. A Whisper 3. Lips like sugar 4. Pour me 5. Lost (Ft. Jay-Z)
  8. Well, optimistic for sure. Though I won't get my hopes up.
  9. As I live in Chicago, I'm super excited. Wasn't able to catch the festival last year but looking foward to it this summer, especially with Coldplay.
  10. Well it's definitely one of my favorites now along with Major Minus. Imo, Chris has gotten better at performing live, just felt like saying that. I think this next LP will very much surpass the likes of Viva La Vida
  11. Dream replied to Marcoldplayer's topic in Major Minus
Pretty sure I heard clocks and dials. There are some repetitive lyrics throughout coldplay songs, references to clocks seems to be one. Though the whole crocodiles thing would be really interesting, also this is an epic song/[album] title.
  12. Well... I have big expectations for this next LP. Loved it.
  13. The first line of the song left me in a state of WTF? but then as it went on I found myself tapping my foot, and replayed it about 20-30 times. I know this song doesn't capture the sound of the next LP, which is good I think, but it's a damn good make-you-happy song. I'd love to see it live. Comparison to a Tao Cruz song stung however. @kittybitty + 1. The alternate unreleased version of 'Talk' is the greatest night time driving song I've ever heard.
  14. I give it a solid 7/10. To be honest, it wasn't expected and sounds a tad bit 'poppy' but It lifted my mood instantly and so naturally, I loved it. Plus, I can't ever not like something from Coldplay.

    Bump. =D
  16. It's a shame, but all good things has to come to and end I guess. I managed to catch one of their last shows on the Colbert Report. They will be missed.
  17. Meh, this whole NATO intervention is illegal in the first place. U.N Resolution #51, no nation shall attack another for any other reason than self-defense. Whatever sorry ass excuse they have does not change the fact it is not for anyone's self defense. It's just their attempt at colonization, supporting instability, privatizing their industries, and exploiting their people. As if they cared about the civilians, a cruise missile can't tell the difference between a Gaddafi soldier and a civilian as we've seen so far. Last time the U.S supported a rebel movement 'twas in Afghanistan against the Soviets. Look what happened there, those rebels are now the organizations that slow the progress of that region. As long as they can slow it down, control remains with the enabling super power, and oil remains cheap. That's all it is.
  18. People are generally told to pursue a career which they like, so they can do what they love to do. However, being able to do that is not always the case. Some of us get stuck in jobs we don't like, some people judge us based on those jobs or what we've chosen to do academically. Let's say you're stuck at some job you don't really want to be doing for a long time but really have to based on the limited job offers, state of the economy, etc. A cashier for example. The cashier wants to travel the world, he wants to change it in some way, he wants to visit his favorite band on tour, he wants to be remembered. Now maybe you don't think he can do any of those things just based on his situation, or your presumptions about him based on that situation. It doesn't matter what you've done or what you're doing in other words. If you know you're that person who can make everyone laugh, that person who can make someone's day, that person who has a lot of good ideas, or whatever you're good at, you shouldn't let yourself be slowed down by anything. If you remained determined, use the power of positive attraction, and stay true to what you want to do, then it manifests itself. Let your dreams, your hopes and wishes manifest into your reality in one way or another. Sorry for the lengthy reply, i'm sure the other guys pretty much summed it up in less words but yeah.
  19. Thanks guys, the forum is great so far.
  20. Yeah I saw your name on one of the threads.. I thought it was strange because I didn't remember posting there but then I noticed the Y. :D I was suprised this name wasn't taken anyway. Nice meeting you.
  21. Hey, thanks. Glad to see someone else is online besides my insomniac self.
  22. When you're listening to "The Goldrush" while on the coldplaying forums at 1:30 am and plan to fall asleep while listening to your ipod playlist of Coldplay B side tracks.
  23. Ah that's a tough one. I guess it would have to be "Only Superstition" followed by "The Goldrush", "Crest of Waves", "Speed of Sound", and the unreleased "Ladder to the Sun".
