This one was leaked as a potential possibility as well. But it was pulled at the last minute because Jonny's toe was run over by the Chrissorcycle on set. Plus it was too similar to another album cover released this year and didn't want to deal with all that. Don't ask where I get these leaks. If EMI catches me I'm a goner. Ohhh man I'll probably catch some flack for that one :laugh3:

I mean, it's cool if you can share stuff you hear on the radio but it must be taken with a grain of salt (in Coldplay's case, a whole bucket of salt). It's just that provided how secretive they are a random DJ may not be the best source of information. Also, my join date was last month, so quite recent. However, I've been reading these forums for a while and have been listening avidly since I was ten in 2000. Parachutes was my very first album I ever bought! So I don't think my join date is necessarily the best indicator of my Coldplay knowledge/judgement :) Let's lighten up y'all!

Uhhh it wasn't really a dumpster but it was like a high-rent, fancy area so they put their trash in the front on a certain day. Like a main-street type of business, independently-owned. I would not have thrown that away. It deserves a conflagration of some sort, with respect and dignity. You know, like how they dispose of flags/crucifixes? So naturally I straight up stole it. I dug through the trash for Coldplay. Win. :D

So I'm bored and I thought I'd share my stuff with you guys. I can't upload a picture of my (almost complete) coldplay collection (...damn Safety EP and What If single :angry: ). Because it's in my hometown (St. Louis) and I'm at college. But here's my room. I guess I don't have too much stuff on the walls. These are my 12" record LPs by my desk. Where do you think I should but LP5? It will be asymmetrical... haha. Damn...I should have taken down my Periodic Table :P ' This is my bed. I have a big poster of AROBTTH :) This is my display 24" x 24" (60cm x 60am) Viva La Vida poster that I FOUND BY A TRASH CAN IN FRONT OF A RECORD STORE. WTF. I was like :stunned: : So I stole it and framed it. And now it looks awesome :D (Sorry it looks fuzzy...I took these pictures with my iPad which has a horrible camera). Finally, this is one of the inside doors of my closet. Me and a friend made a bunch of posters for the 2009 tour, and this was one of them. I think it's pretty good :smug: I wanna upload a pic of my collection as soon as I can! I just figured out this thread existed... I wish I was as creative as you all!

I love "Yes!" I think it's one of the strongest on the album. I don't think there is any filler on Viva...I can't picture it without any of its songs. It's quite concise.

I think the art will be ridiculously colorful. Kind of like the ETIAW cover... Which is both good and bad. I dunno. Anyway, I like yours though :)

It's not really on a FACTUAL basis as to which album is better. It's purely an opinion... When you vehemently defend something it makes you seem like your argument isn't as strong. Like if you say something like (if I remember correctly) "ETIAW...when I hear the song it makes my head hurt" (I can't remember what exactly you said in a previous thread), that's COOL, but it's not up to you to say so matter-of-factly as to which music is better. All that's up to you is what you're listening to and your own personal opinion. Yes, you may express it here, but be open-minded. Otherwise it's no fun. There is variety in Coldplay fans, which is awesome because it makes our group that much more diverse and improves us as a result. If we all agreed with you, there would be no forum. What's the point? Some people like Coldplay's new, more epic sound as opposed to their older, refined AROBTTH/Parachutes sound. It's all up to perspective, and I don't think any of us have the right to belittle other people's music choices when it's such a personal experience. We've all had such awesome experiences following this band. I know I have. Let's let everyone form their own opinions based solely on the music, and not some random internet guy's opinion. Because that's what they make music for, right? :)

Yeah I almost drowned because I wanted to listen to it for longer than I could hold my breath! :lol: It was really cool. Actually one of the few times I've gotten to use it. Usually the pool is just a competition area/diving practice place. Which is lame.

^That kind of makes sense! If that's the case, I'll bet he wrote it while all those tabloids were making up crap that his marriage was on the rocks.
