I mean EMI does have them by the balls, but it's them to thank for the exposure. Without them, I don't think Coldplay would be the band they are now. Or even the band they were. Chris would be grilling burgers! :awesome:

They released Viva and Violet Hill before VLV, and they were both on the album. I think all three of these songs will be on the new album.

They came from a US launch event on behalf of the record company for Rush of Blood in August 2002. Assuming my memory serves me correctly. I was only 12 years old. :cool:

The single art for Clocks is an abstract sketch of Chris, from the view being DIRECTLY UNDERNEATH him. It's kind of trippy. Here: Look on the middle kind of round part to the left. You can see a pointy nose, and eyes on either side. Do you see it? His face is dark grey, on the left middle. The part sticking out the most is his nose, and you can make out eyes on either side of that. It takes a bit of staring to see it, but you'll see! There was a pic somewhere on these forums with arrows. I'll see if I can find it, and credit the person who did it of course :)

This is a possibility. I composed it using imagery provided to us through the songs, and I really think it captures the overall feeling of what the album will be. :lol: Also, I really liked the first one on this thread. Seriously. I don't know why.

Agreed. The entire point of auto-tuning is to make a studio recording sound a lot better. Isn't that also called "producing?" :rolleyes: That's why studio versions sound so perfect.

Random: I'd like some advice. So I really want some nice coldplay prints to supplement those that I already have. I LOVE the X&Y artwork, and I was hoping to buy something nice to put on my wall. I'm kind of art-ignorant :sneaky: If it's just paper I doubt it's worth the $75 each! I don't really have a clue. :inquisitive: Does anyone know?

^I think that's right. It's the same thing they did right after Violet Hill last time with Viva La Vida. Plus, I think Lost! was released as a B-side with Violet Hill. Unless I'm mistaken?
