  1. I'm so sad, I missed my first break and half of lunch at work (because I screwed something up) and in the tiny bit of lunch I had left, pulled a ticket in B5 ... wasn't sure where that was so I went to pull up a map and it took so long I lost the ticket ... actually pulled it up again but my break ended before I could get it. Turns out that was a PERFECT ticket. Nothing I could do about it, I'd get fired for using my phone outside of break. Kicking myself for not just blindly grabbing it. Oh well, I'll see what comes up in the regular sale.
  2. Thanks for the answer! Unfortunately I missed it because I was at work and not seeing the seats I want now, but will try again in the regular sale (or wait and see if they drop more later).
  3. Does anyone know if there's a presale for Cleveland? The email said there would be presales for all shows but Miami, yet on the sales page for Cleveland (not TM), it only says on sale Saturday, no mention of presale anywhere. That'd actually be great for me as I'll be at work during the presales and I'm not allowed to touch my phone (cruel). But if there's a presale I want to know so my friend can get our tickets.
  4. Pretty excited to see a handful on there that would be possibilities for me. DC and Metlife again for sure, since those are both 3 hours from me. Probably will do Cleveland since that's an easy drive, and it's a Saturday, and it's an arena, which I miss even though the stadiums are cool. And it would be easy to do Toronto from there (I love Toronto!). And Boston is close. I probably won't buy tickets to any but NY/DC though, since it's so far away it's kind of hard to predict where my life will be then and i don't want to end up eating costs for anything.
  5. What's the difference between "stalls" and "tribune"? I'm assuming tribune is an area farther back based on the lower price, but does anyone have a chart?
  6. Ah, this is exciting to hear! Sounds like it could be fantastic.
  7. I had the same thing happen. I used this page and it looks like the right place? http://coldplay.ticketmaster.de/en/ None of the presale links in the email worked for me. :-/
  8. Ticket question, as I've never done a Coldplay show anywhere but within 3 hours of me in the US: Does the GA sell out very fast and stay sold out? I'd really love to do a trip overseas to see them, but I honestly have no way of knowing what my life status will be by June/July. I've had to cancel two trips I planned this fall for other things and am absolutely eating it on the tickets I bought ... one I couldn't resell and the other I'm going to lose $200. So I'm hesitant to buy a ticket for these when they go on sale. On the other hand, if the GA becomes scarce and stays hard to get as the show approaches, I would rather buy one now in case I can go ... and it would be easy to resell at or near face value. Thoughts? Better to buy now, or will I be able to easily find one later if I decide to go?
  9. I've wanted to go to Germany for so long so my gears are already turning haha. I'm from the US though so it's a bit of an ordeal budget-wise.
  10. Ah yeah I'd do that in a heartbeat. Saw The National there this year; epic venue. Would be amazing to see Coldplay there.
  11. I would love it if they play MSG. Even though it's a bit of a pain to get there for me, I would for sure try to go. Wells Fargo would be great ... I saw them there on VLV and MX tours (well it was Wachovia Center in 2008) so it'd be cool to keep the tradition going. I loved the stadiums but I'd like to see them in at least one arena this tour cycle. I wouldn't mind driving up to Toronto or Boston, I haven't been on a road trip in too long. Do we have any idea what time roughly they might be back in the US/Canada? Spring? Late winter? Later?
  12. Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen anywhere be that specific, haha. If someone had asked me, I'd have said Exeter too. I mean Whitehall rings a bell so I guess I saw it on Wikipedia or something, but I wouldn't have thought of it. I mean for the first 10 years or so that I liked Coldplay I just assumed he was from London, so I'm not sure I'm really the best at geographic band facts lol.
  13. Since Whitestone is so close to Exeter people might just say Exeter sometimes because it's the nearest city (Whitestone is a village). I often refer to myself as being from the city a couple miles from where I grew up, even though technically I grew up in a town with a different name that's sort of part of the city. My address even had the city in it.
  14. Awww, man I had turned it off. Fail. Fortunately the stream lets you go back so I can watch it now.
  15. Agreed ... very much in the spirit of the event! I just thought it sounded quieter, so kind of got dominated when they sang together. I mean it sounded like Eddie's mic was up higher. Personally I think Chris's has a much richer timbre, but that's purely subjective on my part. I loved the combination of the two, though, both excellent voices with different singing styles which makes for a great collaboration.
  16. Yep ... wish they could do one more song ... would have liked to hear a Coldplay song, but it was still cool not complaining.
  17. Never been a big PJ fan but Eddie's voice is great ... will never forget when he sang Comfortably Numb with Roger Waters at the 12/12/12 show and nailed it. He has a very distinctive voice ... nice to hear him with Chris who also does in an entirely different way. I don't think Chris's voice sounds particularly rough, other than a couple high notes here and there. Sounds pretty solid and hitting his notes well in most spots.
  18. Loved that cover! Always liked that song, sounds extra lovely in Chris's voice.
  19. I know, haha, I'm kind of wondering what level of attire for which we are supposed to clap? Like, does he just have to be wearing long sleeves? Or does it need to be formal wear? Or maybe we're just meant to clap when he has a special t-shirt on, as opposed to just a t-shirt.
  20. Chris just came on stage to say a couple words about the GCF in India. Not a whole lot, he just said he was excited for it and made a joke about toilets, it was pretty brief!
  21. It's a little sad how excited I am to just see him standing there lol
  22. Bastille are great, loving the new album! Have seen them a handful of times and they are an awesome live show too.
