  1. I read it online a week-ish ago, I'll try to find the source and post it here. I know it sold 6.8 million WW by the end of 2008, so 8 million WW in total makes sense, but I'll look for that link.
  2. Probably going to end around 5-6 million WW sales in total. VLV sold 8 mill WW, doubt this will beat that, though MX will prolly beat VLV in total sales in the UK.
  3. "Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto Tour had the best debut of all the new tours this month, finishing at No. 2. " http://www.marke****ch.com/story/coldplay-red-hot-chili-peppers-among-ticketnews-top-ranked-december-events-2012-01-05
  4. "In Comparison With Viva's Sales at the same stage [after 10 weeks - UK]: Viva La Vida 841,525 Mylo Xyloto 907,648 It took Viva 26 Weeks to reach a million, i think it will take Mylo another 4 weeks to reach a million. As of 30th October 2011 Viva had sold 1,381,309, i think MX has a great chance of outselling that by the end of 2012." Source: http://www.ukmix.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=81511&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=1550 Also, MX has now sold, so far, 907 000 in the UK and 950 000 in the US. 5. In the US it has sold 877 000 copies in 8 weeks. "Some other big rock names did just OK. Coldplay sold 877,000 copies of “Mylo Xyloto” in eight weeks … impressive, until you remember their last album sold 721,000 in one week." Source http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/12/27/idUS364656545020111227 It will probably reach a million copies sometime in January.
  6. I got this from another site: For UK Sales: "In Comparison With Viva's Sales at the same stage [after 9 weeks]: Viva La Vida 820,895 Mylo Xyloto 867,000 With 2 singles to come [Charlie Brown, Princess Of China], Brit Awards Performance & Nominations, UK Stadium Tour, Possible 5th Single [Hurts Like Heaven] and possibly a EP/Deluxe edition to come i think Mylo has a great chance to sell more copies than Viva at least in the UK." - Source http://www.ukmix.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=3496072

  10. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/bizarre/4002372/Chris-Martin-and-pals-are-Coldplayboys-for-their-next-video.html topless girls?...wth/wtf...that can't be true I'm not from the UK...but is The Sun one of those gossip type newspapers (similar to TMZ) seems like a load of shite "The band came up with a winning idea for the video for their next single, Charlie Brown — a warehouse party featuring a load of topless girls. Management placed an advert offering to pay extras £100 for the job — with an extra 100 quid for any girls willing to whip their shirts off and jiggle about." lol seems like some joke
  11. According to this article, it says : "The Brit-pop act is riding high off of their recent Grammy nominations for Best Rock Song, Best Rock Performance, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and they are going to celebrate by visiting select cities across the nation next spring. The band is touring in support of its new RIAA-certified Platinum record, Mylo Xyloto, which has scored the most No. 1 rankings of any album this year worldwide, topping the charts in 34 countries to date." Source: http://lamusicblog.com/2011/12/news/coldplay-announces-2012-north-american-tour/ That is impressive, though wikipedia says it topped in 17 countries. Still good, nonetheless.
  12. Well in the States, Coldplay have never really been big on the Charts. They have had only 2 songs in the Top 10......Viva la Vida in 2008 and Speed of Sound in 2005. And they don't really need publicity, they are already established and one of the biggest, if not the biggest band in the world. Also, ETIAW and Paradise have charted in the Top 15 in the Billboard Chart as well. Charlie Brown will probably be another Top 15 or Top 10 song and even if it isn't, it doesn't matter, Coldplay don't need the publicity, IMO.
  13. yeah it was nice, the 2nd bridge was a bit shorter, but if fit in.
  14. Is it just me or is the second bridge cut-off or a lot shorter... Like the non-live parts though
  15. Is this a UK-only release date or worldwide release date?
  16. Sitting in front of my computer on Coldplaying.com
  17. lol at "out now" they prolly using Wikipedia a bit too much
  18. Never really listened to Nickleback, except a few songs on the radio here and there what's the deal with them?
