Hello and welcome!! And I understand what you mean about how Coldplay can touch your emotions in ways words cannot describe. They are just AMAZING!! I've learned quite a bit of their songs on the keyboard and harmonica, as well. :) There are just no words to describe this band's greatness! :D

Wow, I'm not usually one to open up like this, but I understand what you mean The Mad Hatter. :) I used to turn to alcohol, too. I'd sneak it all past my parents. Any time I felt down, I'd just go chug a little bit of wine. Or Whiskey. Or beer. Or whatever I could get my hands on. However, the very thing I turned to whenever I felt depressed (alcohol) was the thing which depressed me the most. Definitely the absolute most down times I've ever had were AFTER I consumed alcohol, not before. :P Still, I kept on turning to it. Finally, it scared me so close to death that I just made a vow to NEVER touch a single drop of it ever again. I'm 10 months sober the 27th of this month. :) I frequently get a LOT of laughter and scoffing from my peers for never drinking at all, but I know I cannot allow peer pressure to get to me. I am also a Christian. I turned to God with my drinking problem. I prayed that He would help me and give me the strength to keep my vow of never touching a drop of alcohol ever again. I have prayed every single day for strength, and I still do. So far He's been giving it! I sincerely hope that you start feeling better soon. I will pray for you. Pray for God to relieve your problems, bless you, and help you through all of this. If you have any prayer requests, I'm not just saying this, I'll take them and pray. :) I am so sorry about you feeling so down. I've had some VERY low downs and still do, but I just keep on praying for strength and I'll do the same for you. :) Everything's Not Lost. Promise. :)

A true Coldplay fan could never name "the best CP song ever". A true CP fan could NEVER choose an absolute fav or "the very best". Only someone who isn't a true fan would or could ever even think about implying that at least 97% of ALL things Coldplay has EVER done is anything BUT the BEST!!!!!

Am I just slow?....what makes Violet sound like kind of a conceited bad name?? I mean, I suppose that "conceited" is what you meant by "conceded."?????

My friends all call me a "walking advertisement" because I make my own CP shirts, have numerous CP "temporary tatoos" from a Sharpie, and then of course I never fail to find some way to segue Coldplay into every single conversation I ever have with anyone, so truly my friend's label of me is quite accurate! ;) Anyway welcome to Coldplaying!! :D

Yes, I listened to it on repeat as I put up the tree this year, too. :) Because I've been having problems with my iPod, I had to reset it about a month ago, but just since it's been reset, I've managed to get the playcount of this song up to 224! :D I think I'm obsessed. :freak: And this is a song I love to listen to all year long...not just at Christmastime. :smug2: :chris::guy::will::jonny::heart: And merry early Christmas to everyone!!! :D

However, I just love it SO much, I just simply HAD to make a thread of my own dedicated to this amazing song...this amazing song of which I can say, without even so much as the slightest bit of doubt is by ALL means my absolute most favourite Christmas song EVER!! So if you share my love for this incomparable Christmas song...please post a comment to share your love for it!! For CHRISTMAS LIGHTS!! :D A couple of facts from me... 1. The first time I ever heard this song the lyrics literally made me cry; and 2.
