  1. Hello and welcome! Well, you'll certainly no longer be longing for interaction with other Coldplay-obsessed crazies. There's tons of us here!! :D ;)

This song is incredible!! So quirky and somewhat creepy, yet profound. Just LOVE!! :D
  3. Listening and singing to "Paradise" on the Radio...:D
  4. Definitely a favorite song. :D Just LOVE!! I adore songs such as this with a slight creepiness you can literally feel when you listen to it. Somehow (not sure, as they really aren't that similar at all) it in some way reminds me of Radiohead's "We Suck Young Blood." Just awesome. :D
  5. Oh goodness I ADORE this song!! It's simplicity yet profoundness is what makes it so incredibly gorgeous. It brings back fond memories of singing favorite hymes in Church, many years ago. :D
  6. Ah man, this song is one of my absolute MOST favourite songs EVER, EVER, EVERRR!! Making Coldplay posters has always been a very consuming hobby of mine, but one of my fav posters to date is my beloved Life in Technicolor 2. :D Btw, seriously, "great" could NEVER do this song justice!! It's bloody PERFECTION!! :D
  7. Wow. Just love these lyrics. Must admit, Paradise wasn't exactly a fav when I first heard it, but it has grown on me SO much as of late, I cannot help but sing to it every time I hear it play. It's now a favorite. One reason I think it's come to mean so much to me is because when I really started listening to the lyrics, I could relate in a very special way, 'cause I can remember being a little kid, and always wanting something more in life, always waiting for something more in life, and it took me many years to realize that everything I'd ever wanted, everything I was "waiting for" was here all along. Some "grand tomorrow" is never gonna come, like I used to think it was. No, that grand tomorrow is never gonna come unless you find the "grandness" of TODAY. Thankfully, I did. I found true happiness. And so many of Coldplay's songs have been the soundtrack of my life, but that is what this song means to me. :) Sorta corny I suppose, but just being honest. :)
  8. This song is bloody brilliant!! A fav to sing to, aswell! :D
  9. I just love how the album goes off so similar to how it begins. Just lovely. :)
  10. Definitely one of Coldplay's most amazing songs. Man, if only I could have a dollar for every time I've ever played this incredible piece of art on repeat...lol :D
  11. <3, seriously ADORE this video!! :)
  12. Well, the first time I ever heard Violet Hill, I was in the kitchen cooking, just after I'd put VLV in to listen to for the first time. It was immediately a fav. But the first time I ever heard it on my iPod was when I was walking through the woods, one snowy day in February. I can remember our heater going out that harsh Winter and singing out loudly to the lyrics of the song "...while we froze, down below" 'cause I could rather relate. LOL. But now it's years later, and the song continues to just somehow get better and better each and every time I hear it. :D
  13. @ whoever asks "honestly people, how could you ever actually listen to Violet Hill 400x?" Well, the playcount on my iPod is at over 500. I listen to it during school, while I write, while I clean, while I do whatever. And when you think about it, all you'd have to do is just listen to the song a couple times a day, and, well, there are 365 days in a year, so I suppose that's how you could listen to it over 400 times. Though to put it more simply, how to listen to Violet Hill over 400x, well, just be a TRUE Coldplay fan is how. :D
  14. I can remember being about 12 years old and getting Viva La Vida when it first came out and every time I ever brought up the song, I'd have to catch myself 'cause I'd accidentally call it "Strawberry Fields." It's just so similar...:D
  15. Not gonna lie, Strawberry Swing's my fav song off of Viva La Vida. Always has been. :) I'm a sucker for sweet songs, and what lyrics could ever get any sweeter than the ending lyrics to this song, "Now the skies could be blue, I don't mind, 'cause without you it's a waste of time."?? I actually made a poster with those words on it. :) Just lovely.
  16. I always thought it was Chris saying, "Just a little bit faster..." but then again I'm tragically untalented at determining the words of songs, even favourites such as Strawberry Swing.
  17. Hello Ayanna and welcome!!!! I also quite love the song Politik, as it was one of my first favorites. :)
  18. Hello Lucianatozzi and welcome here! :) I also am an old fan of the band, but quite new to Coldplaying. So far, Coldplaying has been the best fansite I've ever been on, and I must second Peace's comment that it is "without quarrels" because that is very true and also why I have so been enjoying Coldplaying. Anyhow, I also offer help if you need anything, I'll at least try my best. :) I still don't know my way around completely but have generally found my way around and will help you if I can. :)
  19. Just got to say: Only been a member of Coldplaying for two days now and already I must admit it's by ALL means THE best fansite EVER!! :D
  20. Hi there and welcome!
  21. Bonjour and welcome!! :) Wow concert must have been amazing...:D
  22. Hello and welcome! I'm new here, aswell. :) And I recently watched the Toronto concert on TV and it was just one of the MOST awesome concerts I've EVER seen!! I really loved their unique version of God Put a Smile Upon Your Face which they played...:D Can't wait till they come back through my neck of the woods so I can finally see them live! :)
  23. Welcome! Us Coldplay fans are the best fans in the world...Chris Martin says so! ;)
  24. Awesome, I'm a fan of Johnny Cash too! I especially love his song Hurt, which he sang to his wife June Carter. Everything about the song is just so awesome. But yeah same here, I didn't start really getting into his stuff until pretty recently, the last few years. And here's hoping you'll get your wish of Coldplay doing a concert in your country! :D
