This is something that I've been wanting to see be done for quite some time now...I just never had the guts to post a thread giving it a shot. Finally, I've decided to post my idea. :shy: I think that it would be SO cool to have a competition of sorts in which people cover their favourite songs. It doesn't always have to be CP songs. It can be anything you want. And you can be ANY age, from ANYWHERE, of course!!!! : ) You don't have to be superstar material. Just choose a favourite song and put all your heart and soul into it. There should be a deadline, and also some way in which people can vote on the covers. You could go all out and make a music video, or just record an MP3 and remain anonymous. TOTALLY up to each person!! :D I think that this would be such an amazing thing! If anyone is interested in the competition, please post a comment! I'd love to start arranging things and actually see this happen!!!! I hope there are others out there who think this would be as abso-bloody-lutely AWESOME as I do!!!! Anyone in? :sunny:

On Thanksgiving my friends and I all sat down at the table and one of them announced they were going to say Grace. We all held hands and bowed our heads and just as my friend began saying the prayer, we heard "In my place, in my place...were lines that I couldn't change..." playing softly. Everyone looked up and around. I was asked if I was getting a text. My cell phone was turned off. So then we all sit back down at the table and began trying to say Grace again. "Don't ever say you're on your way down when..." we could hear God Put a Smile Upon Your Face playing quietly. So then we all got back up to investigate. Nothing. We all sat back down and swore to say Grace if it killed us. My friend began once again, and then we could hear, "Come up to meet you, tell you I'm sorry, you don't know how lovely you are..." playing quietly. NOW THE SCIENTIST WAS PLAYING!! We were all like, "What the fudge?!" Finally, I realized my iPod was in my back pocket, playing the Rush of Blood to the Head album, and it was turned up so loud, it was able to be heard clearly through the earbuds...without being in your ears!! The mystery was then solved and we all still laugh about it to this day!!! :D

The Scientist...because somehow through the "come back and haunt me" lyrics I can somehow feel my best friend's presence beside me, even though she's been in the ground for months. :hug: Somehow it's comforting.

Maybe like a teal for the teardrop, orange for the flames, and for some reason I'm thinking a grey-ish for the bird. Not sure about the others though... :)
