I just love how in some of the live versions of Yellow he adds "My love" after "I swam across, I jumped across for you...oh what a thing to do..." :D And also how he says "My love, my love, my love, my love" just before all of the "ooooohs" at the end of the Scientist in one of his live versions. Welcome!!!!!!!!! And yes, that's right--Fix You was written for Gwyneth Paltrow when her father was ill. You can go down to the "Forum Jump" at the bottom right of the page, click on the little arrow drop-down box, and you can scroll down, and you'll see the names of many Coldplay songs. You can then click on whichever one you want, and you can read tons of threads on that certain song by doing that. I've learned a lot of interesting things I didn't know by seeing all of the comments on the threads of some of these songs. Hope this helps!! :)

You may not like them, but if I could make some suggestions of other rock and indie bands you might like, my favorites are Radiohead, Muse, Broken Bells (you might know their song "The High Road?"), The Shins (same lead singer of Broken Bells), and I also love Onerepublic. You may know all of these, but just thought I'd suggest...:)

I can remember being in a crowded car with my sister, brother-in-law, and three nephews and baby niece. We were listening to 102.1 the edge when the dj said "Here's a fresh song from Coldplay...this is 'Paradise'" :D Where were you the first time you ever heard this song? :)

I can remember downloading VLV onto my iPod and walking through the woods in the snow whilst listening to this song. Surreal. Almost magical it was. Can you remember where you were the first time you ever heard Violet Hill? :)

Oh really? I can remember the day I first listened to A Rush of Blood to the Head and immediately afterwards I had to hear everything else by Coldplay and when I listened to all of their other music, I just couldn't believe how awesome they are and I've just basically been an obsessed fan ever since. :D I'm hoping to see them the next time they come through, which is said to be soon! :nice: Anyway, thanks again for sending me your mp3 cover!! :happy2:
