  1. Can anybody tell me how to put up a picture if it's saved to the computer?
  2. Nowhere near as great as some of the stuff here, but I think it still counts. Pretty obvious what it is, I just collaged them so they all didn't end up like the poor yellow sucker in the top left corner.
  3. Lol I think I'm gonna like it here, so many nice people
  4. Lol I saw the ad O2 did for Gorillaz as well. Both are pretty awesome videos

    Um so yeah, hello all!
  6. Hello all, Ive been a member for a few weeks now actually lol, but better late than never right?
  7. I'd say the reason people like live versions better than studio versions is the whole experience of hearing a band live. I saw Coldplay a couple months ago, and you just get swept up in the whole crowd-mentality, everyone is singing along, and I just felt this real sense of community the entire time I was there. There's so much energy in the atmosphere!
  8. It's a bit of a stretch, but I think I can hear it. The percussion in the background of UIF kinda sounds like the percussion in Teardrop
  9. Just watched the Paradise video again, had a couple random thoughts: The car that passes chris as he's unicycling down the highway, is that an actual person just driving down the highway, or a stunt car? And if he was actually sticking out his thumb for real people driving, did anybody stop for the elephant on the unicyle? Also, in the live footage with the band playing in the masks and gloves, how hard must it be for Guy and Jonny to play with gloves, unless they're modified somehow.
  10. When You're watching doctor who and you start singing 'Glass of water' when the doctor places a you-know-what on the ground
  11. It makes me want to puke sometimes.......augh...............
  12. It doesn't surprise me that HLH has an Arcade Fire feel to it, Coldplay have been listening to The Suburbs quite a bit lately from what I've heard, and Arcade Fire is apparantly one of their favorites
  13. I'm just saying it seemed kinda sudden when they dropped amy and rory from the show
  14. Damn, I was really hoping they would play Charlie Brown, that song sounds awesome live, ah well
  15. I think people need to get over the 'poppyness' of this song. There comes a point where Coldplay can't fall back on what they did during Parachutes and A rush of blood to the head. Is it so terrible for a band to experiment with new sounds? A band can't do the same thing over and over again, in this case, coldplay can't keep doing the same mellow acoustic stuff they were doing before. I f a band refuses to experiment or develop, you get Nickelback, where you can layer every song they've ever done over top of one another and they all sound the same. Coldplay needs to change in order to survive in the industry.
  16. I actually find this quote relatable. I find things people normally see as mundane or ordinary as being pretty amazing..it's part of what inspires me as a person
  17. Do I really need to say anything? Although going to the site makes me sad now...WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN US, BROTHERS CHAPS!?
  18. ^lol yes that one too
  19. from the ellen show: chris: ' i think people like me and jonny join bands because we're really not doing so well' ellen: 'with women?' chris: 'with women, men, anybody' lol aww
  20. I wish i knew a bench that awesome lol
  21. Does anybody else use chris' haircut as a judge of when a picture is from? for example, 'hm, chris has long hair here, must be from the viva era'
  22. I think they like to save will's voice as a special treat for live versions. I'd love to have a version of death will never conquer with will singing, but alas, no such version exists.
  23. Is it really possible to pick a song to be Coldplay's best? I mean really, how can you choose. You start to think one song is their best, then you hear a new one and it's like 'holy crap, this is awesome!! new best song!' not to mention everybody has different tastes; some people prefer their slower, more acoustic work (sparks, us against the world etc.) whereas others prefer the faster and more complicated (Viva la vida, ETIAW etc.) if everybody had their way, there would be at least 15 best coldplay songs ever
  24. That's what i thought, after all in the episode where the doctor goes back to find craig, they make an appearance. its got to mean something right? usually once someone's out of the TARDIS, that's it, you never see them again
