  1. Why do I have zero doubt that chris would say that? :laugh3:
  2. Everybody else just summed it up. Awesome lyrics, a great sound, true, down to earth band members, and music that resonates with my beliefs and personality. Also, there's nobody else like them, you listen to the radio nowadays and everything is so mind-numbingly similar that I can't stand it. Every album they do explores something different. That's why they're awesome. Oh, and awesome fans too :awesome:
  3. :stunned: (twilight zone theme)
  4. ^ And, butterflies would be considered sacred. On topic, you know you're addicted to coldplay when you make up a hypothetical city populated exclusively by coldplay fans :P
  5. That would be the flag, just plain yellow. Or maybe stripes in different shades of yellow, I don't know, there would have to be a town meeting about it
  6. ^we would blame everything on a rush of blood to the head, there would be clocks everywhere, April second would be the most important holiday, all the birds would fly at the speed of sound, and it would just be us against the world :D
  7. Cool :D one time I wrote 42 on a locker, and it was up there for the longest time, but I went back and it was gone :( I guess the janitors in my school don't understand the answer to life, the universe, and everything
  8. Lol that's me too, in math we do review questions on white boards and I always draw the charlie brown and HLH symbols on the side
  9. YKYATCW: your dad refers to the band as 'your buddies', as in Christmas lights is on the radio, and my dad asks 'are these your buddies?'
  10. From the hate that I've seen it's mostly complaints about the production and the vocal distortion they used
  11. It doesn't really count as a place, but once I was watching American Idol and Life In Technicolor II started playing during a montage of footage from auditions :D
  12. Oh god no. No no no. If I hear 'Someone like you' one more time I'll eat my own feet......
  13. Maybe you could go into how strong themes of escape are in the video, and how that links to the fact that the band is trying to do something much different than anything they've ever done, thus escaping preconceptions people have of them
  14. InvaderXyl42 replied to Ouch's topic in Moving To Mars
    You mean the little rocket-A?
  15. I think it really depends on where you are, I've heard Paradise played here a time or two, though I don't really listen to radio because so much of it is just dreadful
  16. YKYATCW: your buddy makes you a Coldplay Photomantage and burns it onto a disc for your birthday
  17. Can't wait to hear what this mystery project is
  18. Probably because of their critics claiming them to be 'whiny', this usually deters guys more than girls. Also, Parachutes was a very quiet, sensitive album, so they established themselves as a quiet, sensitive band, and I bet that gay joke from 40 year old virgin has something to do with it
  19. Happiest: Strawberry swing Most depressing: Trouble Relaxing: Sparks Unusual: Sleeping Sun Innovative: Violet Hill Motivating: Death And all his Friends Colourful: Life in Technicolor II Popular: Fix You Unpopular: Lost+ Under-rated: For You
