  1. he is where his kids are. as much as we would like coldplay to work together in london more put an album out, i guess that ranks higher :)
  2. oh the viva era antics.. [video=youtube;LFd7MWUJttM]
  3. can't see this happening at all. if, coldplay made a song with a sample from this song, coldplay would get higher credits than the other guys listed, not 2.5%-5%. again for the same low credits, coldplay had little to do with this. so can't be their song. yeah, can see that happening. i hope that won't happen. even if it did, producers won't be credited more than the actual songwriters. remember for MX, eno was credited as a songwriter and he only got like 5% while coldplay got 19%s and 38% (chris) or something like that. what i think is that this is a song that has little to do with coldplay and just samples their work.
  4. in US, the firemen respond to emergency calls. they are trained as first responders.
  5. it is basically confirmed now. this is according to a press release: x more importantly, COLDPLAY TOUR SOON??
  6. he seems to be a big fake and there are eyewitnesses. should clear things up pretty easily. [video=youtube;NT3MjMPMf7U] [video=youtube;OMwpvkMxrYU]
  7. someone is going after his money... paparazzi are nothing but lowest pf the low.
  8. more convinced that this is a song written by other people that sample coldplay. all you have to do is look at the shares. plus, I also doubt coldplay would sample a song from these guys. these songs are usually so derivative.
  9. coldplay don't put their albums on streaming services until several months after the release. obviously they prefer physical albums being sold to streaming. probably vinyl better.
  10. looking at their other songs, a little underwhelming. but we'll see. maybe this is a new song made with a coldplay sample.
  11. i think it is getting more and more likely that this is for rihanna. btw, how are the names ranked? are coldplay names first, followed by the rest?
  12. yes, do this for all members will you?
  13. thanks for the heads up. could this be part of rihanna's 'home' soundtrack? also, is 'RADIO DIAL - WALTZ IN B MINOR' registered there? it is the latest registered in ascap.
  14. according to some kanye west fans, he will. btw, i would love to see another 'glass of water' in lp7. the big, bombastic sound worked so well there.
  15. no that has already happened. rihanna released a song with paul and kanye west today, supposedly from her new album.
  16. slightly off topic, but how about rihanna collaborating with paul m. for her new album? maybe something to think about.
  17. ed sheeran on coldplay and their influence: isn't it amazing how influences work? coldplay following U2 the same way Ed is now following coldplay. here is the interview. @8:50 [video=youtube;_zxR7JzkG5E]

  19. back in LA. not recording much then? more
  20. chris was known to not swear publicly during the early parachutes era/pre-parachutes, but of course that changed very quickly. maybe it's a continuation of that. or maybe it has to do with the fact that anyone can listen to their songs anytime anywhere. but then, their live albums have swearing, so don't think that's it.
