I doubt that. They were filming it months ago. I so want that fake Wiki date to be true.

Small Reminders/Updates & The Coldplay Messenger (feat. Roadie #42!)
Don't know about the date but it's clearly gonna be a single. The Anchorman says so. :D Performing POC and releasing CB - THAT would be a mistake. Grammys and Brits are more than enough promotion. If they really do release them 15 days apart, they could be on top of the world. :dazzled:

Grammys - Feb 12th, POC single - Feb 14th. Perfect, ain't it? There's pleanty of time to release CB before that. Could happen. Just sayin.- Rihanna announcement
Ofc it would make more sense to release POC after the Grammys but I don't want them to shelve CB for it. :| The unreliable Wikipedia says CB will be released on Jan 24th and POC on Feb 14th. That would be awesome but it's highly unlikely...- Small Reminders/Updates & The Coldplay Messenger (feat. Roadie #42!)
OMGOMGOMG! :dazzled: Coldplay is pretty smart guy eh? :sneaky: Could they release Princess Of China in America and Charlie Brown in Europe? :wideeyed: Wikipedia (:|) says - POC released: 14 February 2012.- Rihanna announcement

Rihanna will wear nothing. Maybe just her unmentionables. Chris' hands will cover anything that needs to be covered.- Coldplay nominated for 3 Grammy Awards // Paradise to feature on 2012 Grammy Nominees Album (pg.5)
:laugh3: X Factor visitors record, you're goin down.- U2
Really? :D They should listen to us. They're kind of stuck in a rut. The last album is definitely not as good as the previous two. I only really like Get On Your Boots and Magnificent. But I agree that the beginning of Fez-Being Born is the most interesting thing on the record. I don't see anything left for them to do if they go in the same direction...- U2
Songs of the day: Tomorrow, Please, A Man And A Woman, Miracle Drug, Love Is Blindness... Yesterday they were mostly from The Unforgettable Fire - the whole album actually, but especially: Wire (OMG that chant at the end), The Unforgettable Fire, Bad, MLK... God I'm hooked... :D- U2
BTW, this is my desktop background: I've been using it since I became obsessed with The Joshua Tree, it reminded me of it. :D- U2
I discovered Fast Cars yesterday. It's great! I like all of their "world music" efforts. They should do it more often. An album inspired by their native Irish/Celtic music would be awesome. I'm not impressed by No Line On The Horizon, they need to change direction. A Celtic Joshua Tree is one way to go. :D They could also steal a bit from Coldplay (and vice versa) by doing more piano songs...- U2
Tomorrow for me too! +I Threw A Brick Through A Window, Scarlet, October, Gloria... Tomorrow really stands out. Perhaps they should have incorporated the Celtic sound into all of the songs. Like they did on The Joshua Tree with American roots music. +The whole desert feel... And I'd like to compliment the drumming in all songs and piano use in the title track (atypical for U2).- Rihanna announcement
I liked this song from the start. The hook is quite unique*, nothing like current pop music. It's epic and the beat has subtle military/marching undertones which I like. And their voices match. Choosing Rihanna was a good decision. She has an extremely high pitched voice and that's good cos Chris gets to be the man. *yeah, even if it does sound like that Vietnamese chick's song- Rihanna announcement
They would scare it and it would go away. Is that what you want? But seriously, he's probably gonna be more nervous/neurotic than ever...- Rihanna announcement
Awkward awkward Chris Martin on-stage erection comes to mind... I hope they'll perform CB and POC and they KILL IT kinda like the X Factor performance. With a US #1 afterwords (CB).- Mylo Xyloto in Every Song?
RazorEye, thanks for putting it so blatantly, I see (hear) it now in some songs! :wideeyed: Awesome! It's quite subtle, but it's there. Now me must find it in Teardrop. :sneaky:- U2
I really love Achtung Baby now. :smug2: From start to finish. Even the cover is so awesome:- U2
We had this little discussion which should be continued here. :) That's my initial reaction to the first 3 albums. I love October.- Bands that you can't stand, but respect?
Oh, oh I love October at first listen! :wacky: To me, the first trilogy goes: October>>War>Boy. It also proves that you shouldn't judge an album by it's cover. It's their ugliest cover and it's the last U2 album I listened but at the moment it's close to my top 5. I'll have to give the first two albums a couple more listens. And Achtung Baby grew on me a lot. It now challenges the first two 00s U2 albums for the #3 spot on my top list. P.S. Let's continue this discussion on the U2 thread. Reply if you want there. I'll see it. ;) I can add to this thread that I'm going to check out The Arcade Fire, but I have no desire whatsoever to get into Muse. They're unusually popular amongst Coldplayers. I am puzzled actually how many people have to like the same 5 bands here. They're like clones.- Ask the Oracle on Coldplay.com (Now in session!)
Nikola asks: The Oracle replies: Hiya I have been begging for a search option for years! I persuaded the tech team on Monday to bring it back as the tag cloud is too limited and I do tag answers that don't show - so hopefully we will both get that soon! If it is in the tag list, it should bring up the answer you're looking for but if it doesn't I do repeat sometimes so it is worth asking again - doesn't guarantee a reply given I only post 2-4 answers per day. I have already answered a question about the CK symbol actually. Weirdly, I marked one earlier to consider a reply to (again - as not appearing in tags). Maybe you sent it in? Anyway, CK logo was originally representing Car Kids (it has absolutely NOTHING to do with Oxfam logo) but as you can see it's being used for Us Against The World. I haven't heard the song. There weren't many listening sessions that resulted in me hearing much other than what did end up on MX to be honest. I have no idea if fans will every hear it - as with many tracks that remain unreleased. Hope that helps. I'm signing off now as I haven't stopped replying to emails all night and it's almost 9pm. I'd quite like some down time. Feel free to write again but as I have such a lot of mail to get through and usually reply in the order it was received (except tonight given what went on), it won't be as fast a reply - unless the backlog has been cleared. x ___________________________________ I love it how Debs and I have become BFFs. :awesome: So: Option A) CK on Chris' shirt is part of a huge tease and promotion of the space rock opera that is Car Kids. Option B) It just represents Us Against The World and Chris keeps it on his shirt and close to his heart. :nice:- Coldplay pretending to play in some songs live
Here's a thread I started. It answered many of my questions... http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=90828- Ask the Oracle on Coldplay.com (Now in session!)
OK, thanks. I wanna know about the search thing (or you can tell me if you know, I can't see it). And possibly Car Kids. Not because of me but because it's been out of control at times... Everything after Debs appearing here should possibly be made into a separate thread (it's not fair to Tash's thread).- Ask the Oracle on Coldplay.com (Now in session!)
That's also true, I think. - Small Reminders/Updates & The Coldplay Messenger (feat. Roadie #42!)
