Parrotdies, your questions are all very legitimate. I agree with your point of view in many ways. I can't fully respond to the questions, as I am extremely disturbed & scared right now. Today might be one of the most bloody days in Egypt as Morsi supporters call for demonstrations, while attacks on military forces in Sinai occurred. I have just seen a video on youtube threatening a civil war, suicide bombings & burning christians!! Civil war!! has it come down to this?! this has never happened in the Egyptian history. Sadly, this is the result of using & manipulating religion to get to power & stay there. The (rebel) campaign started by an idea few months ago, collecting the people signatures as a symbolic movement to call for early presidential elections. The demonstrations on 30 June also came as a simple idea that got underestimated by the regime. Everyone was afraid of this day, saying it would lead to civil war. Fears of protesting & getting killed or raped or assaulted were spread before the protests in order to scare ppl away. Plus provoking the people by saying that those who will protest are just some remains of the former regime or the disbelievers who are fighting against Islam. I'm not going through much details because everything is confusing right now, but I hoped that the government would react prior to these demonstrations to diffuse such tension & offer solutions. After millions marched in the streets asking for (early presidential elections), there were no political compromises or offers from the government to solve that situation, instead the ruling party & its supporters called for opposing demonstrations on the streets too, as if calling for battles & bloodshed. I hoped for many things, none have happened sadly. I am scared about the future & the Algerian example. The original article says thousands, no they were millions, more than anyone has expected. It was unbelievable really. Much more than in 25 jan 2011.

Yesterday I rewatched an interview with Chris & Jonny from 2008 where they said they get excited & comfortable about their even numbered albums. They said that they were very nervous about their first & third albums, & that their 5th probably would've been a nightmare. Somehow, this interview gave me hope that LP6 would be as good as AROBTTH & VLV. I am clinging to that hope though I am basically skeptical & pessimistic. Ah, & I don't think they will release it by the end of the year. It's one thing to be writing & recording new songs, but another to produce a whole coherent album with a theme & artwork. May they are thinking of a release date that will make the album eligible for the grammys, not like MX which was late for nomination one year & ended up not winning any award the following year.

I can't understand what is this thread all about! I mean it's ok for you (moss) to support any cause you like, but why would you think that if Chris became vegan, all world problems would be solved? It doesn't make any sense to me. Who cares about what Chris eats anyway? Or even who would follow his dietary habits & why? Maybe you should spread your ideas among your friends & family. Music fanforums are not the best place for supporting such causes I am afraid.

You wouldn't know if they are getting fed up because they are so nice & wouldn't disappoint their fans. I am always checking on this thread & love all the photos posted, even if I am against fans waiting by the doors of the recording studio :\, it does sound creepy in a way & the increasing number of fans visiting adds to my discomfort. I mean too much of anything is never a good thing. & yes, I am jealous. The photos are really great & the lucky fans are able to get so close to the band I could only hope to see live in concert (though that is also highly unlikely:() ughhhh. I don't think I made any sense :confused: sorry if I am ruining anyone's fun.

When you receive emails from different sites asking you to vote or check things on them, & you don't remember registering at all but think you must have when voting for the band to win some award.. When you try to get over this addiction & you fail. :disappointed:

These 2 videos are amazing! His voice sounds so relaxed & mature. His singing is terrific, more than ever! Car kids are non existent! Xylobrytes is a ridiculous name Coldplayers sounds fine but I always thought it means someone in the band Coldplay, not a fan of it :shrug: so because I am boring I prefer Coldplay fans or Fans de Coldplay :P sounds less exclusive. After all it's not a nationality.
