I guess their categories aren't up for public voting :inquisitive: I wish them the best of luck (Please Please British live act, they totally deserve it) Anyone except me thinks they won't be attending any awards ceremonies? at least not the whole band :inquisitive:

some random thoughts about that cancellation: - I was expecting it but still when the band message came out I couldn't help but feel sad & disappointed & I don't even live in Latin America, so I can't blame ppl who were promised concerts on the band's official site being extremely sad & angry. - I don't expect any further explanation from the band, no reasons were offered before when the band (on previous tours) cancelled a concert, so don't ask for it now. - I don't think the cancellation decision from the band itself at all. I don't believe any of the personal rumours about illness & all. I think it had to do with their management & organization stuff that I don't understand much about. - The whole problem came because of the official announcement of the tour, probably without a final confirmation from the organizing company :confused: maybe someone got wrong information & was enthusiastic to share it :shrug: - It could be that they were trying to work things out the past two months to make this tour happen, but eventually failed. Or they could have known it all along but waited for an unknown reason to announce it. - though the band message came out as friendly as possible ( addressing dear friends, not dear fans & offering clear apology) the phrase "corner of the world" for a non native English speaker could sound a bit degrading, esp. coming in a sad context. - I watched the concert at Rock in Rio & thought that the audience was really great, loud & enthusiastic & the band members were clearly enjoying themselves, so no, I can't even imagine that they wouldn't love touring there. The energetic atmosphere ot the MX tour would've mixed wonerdfully with such audience..Alas!! It's the loss of the tour itself, though I doubt it may offer any consolation to the disappointed fans. :sad:

I started feeling the end of this era when they sold the graffiti wall & their paintings a while ago. It seemed at that time they were getting rid of this era's belongings & moving on to the next one, esp. with the talk of working on their new album already & its title. It's not a bad thing after all. It just feels they have moved on quicker than their fans:\ P.S. I wonder what they would do to their heavily decorated instruments! Would it be easy to repaint them?:inquisitive:

there should be an addition to that question: "& if not, why were they teasing us about it by putting the title on their graffiti paintings, their outfits & their instruments?" :bomb: BTW I some how felt by reading this answer that the whole MX era has ended completely :( Well, let's hope the future brings good news.

Yesterday, a few school boys were walking next to me on the street & one of them was singing Yellow :awesome: Yeah, his singing was terrible :P but still it made me extremely happy. This has never happened before :shocked2:

so this has turned into a debate. I am on the conservative side. Just because the band members are nice & down to earth doesn't mean that fans should take advantage of that. Everyone needs some privacy even if they are famous rock stars..:)

مرحبا :D ينقصنا فقط أن نكتب بالعربية كي تصبح الأمور منطقية :P أنا لا أعرف بشأن المواضيع الأخري بهذا القسم و لو دخلتها لن أفهم شيئا بالطبع :lol: و لكنني أعتقد أن هذا هو الموضوع الوحيد الذي يتكلم من به بغير اللغة صاحبة عنوان الموضوع :thinking: هو و الحق يقال من الصعب جدا أن تجد شخص محب لكولدبلاي ممن حولي..هناك من يعرفون لهم اغنية أو أكثر و لكن ليسوا معجبين بالمعني المتعارف عليه هنا..بالأحري هناك فارق رهيب بين الذوق الشرقي و الذوق الغربي في الأغاني فحتي لو فهم العرب معاني الأغاني الأجنبية فهم لن يستسيغوها و قد يعتبروا موسيقاها مزعجة للغاية ( أتحدث هنا بصورة عامة و ليس عن كولدبلاي) هذا غير أننا بالطبع بعيدين كل البعد عن جو الحفلات و ما إلي ذلك و الدولة العربية التي يقيم بها معظم نجوم الغناء الغربي حفلاتهم هي الإمارات و الأسباب معروفة لماذا لكن علي أية حال من الظريف أن أجد هذا الموضوع يتصدر الصفحة.;) ملاحظة: أنا أكتب بالفصحي كي يفهمني الجميع و ليس تحذلقا مني :P
