U2
There's also a picture floating around out there from years ago where he's tonguing...one of the Oasis brothers, if I recall rightly :p. Bono will flirt with pretty much anything that moves. I've pretty much stayed out of the whole "Spider-Man" debacle. I heard a song from the show that Bono and Edge wrote on some show once, can't remember which one. And I've heard about the nightmare disasters that kept befalling the thing. And that's as aware as I've been of the whole mess.

Chris and Jonny
 But that would make it more fun :sneaky: :D! I like this idea of my fandoms coming together .

Chris and Jonny
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. That IS adorable. And really sweet :). I like the way they both start smiling afterwards. jeremyy, that interview-I like those answers, that's cute! Where can I hear that? Oh, that's a great choice of song. You've put me in the mood to play it while looking at this thread now :D. That IS a lovely picture of them . Their friendship is so touching and heartwarming, seriously. And I fully agree, looking at both men together with their gorgeous eyes and their general overall sexiness...yeah. That's nice. Very nice.

Agh...that last gif, as well as the ones of him laughing...HOW can this man manage to be incredibly cute and flat out sexy all at the same time?

Hehehehe. Course, Freud might well be telling Jonny something he already knows/suspects, I think, but still...:D.

You mean you want to post a picture here, right? Videos to watch! Ooh! Shall do so shortly. Quoted for truth. Well noted :D. I wondered that about the suitcase, too! And I agree with everyone else's comments about it, too. That video looks like it would've been fun to make. Row, thank you for the little gif from the "Paradise" video, it's beyond super cute. Good. On both counts :D. I didn't. Seriously, I didn't. ...mostly I didn't :shifty:. You know, after looking at all THIS... ...it's pretty much impossible to not think about that. *Mind wanders* I swear to god, this man will be the death of me.

LOLdplay: I Can Haz Cake?
Man. I'm so glad my parents weren't all "secular music is bad"! Matter of fact, judging by some people's parents here, my dad would've been seen as falling prey to "devil influences", 'cause he listened to so much hard rock/metal stuff as a teen (Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Cream, etc., etc.). He also had long hair, which bugged his mom to no end-she told him once to cut it for some church thing they were going to, and my dad responded with, "Yeah, 'cause I'm sure the church wouldn't want to associate with anyone who had long hair, right?". I'm just sayin'. The man has other options :D. Well, this is just beyond cute :laugh3:. And yes, that gif is hypnotizing...:stunned:.

~*~ The Official Will Champion Appreciation Thread ~*~
Ergh, that sucks. Why do our brains allow us to have such horrible dreams? It is always nice when you find out it's just a dream, though, yeah. Such a big sigh of relief :).

No, it's not! I like those parts, too. Chris makes us really feel for that poor elephant character ! You know what? I'll just post the video. Let's enjoy it, shall we :D? [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1G4isv_Fylg&ob=av2e]Coldplay - Paradise - YouTube[/ame] Edit: Two other things I want to comment on: 1. He moonwalks. As an elephant :laugh3:. Oh, Chris... 2. Riding a unicycle looks hard enough as it is. But riding it while dressed in that big ol' elephant suit? That takes serious talent, my friend .

Chris is just REALLY talented that way, I guess :D. I love it in the video when he's mugging for the camera by hopping and wandering around with the signs that have the lyrics on them. That part always makes me smile and laugh.

LOLdplay: I Can Haz Cake?
LOL, yeah, there was a time period when that happened! The young'ns will think we're making it up ! I'm 27, so I'm old enough, yeah. My dad was awesome :). Very cool guy. You would've liked him for sure.

Ooooh, hey, I'm ALL for that! That first one. The smile on his face. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww... And that third one is just beyond sexy. Random Chris-related thought: Was listening to "Homecoming", and I just want to say that I would LOVE to sit on Lake Michigan and watch fireworks with Chris. Yep. (And given where I live, it'd take less than a day to get TO Lake Michigan. A few hours drive, yes, but not too long. So, Chris, if you're interested...)

:laugh3: at this image. I'd kinda like to be at that meeting and see that actually happen. Thanks, you have a good day as well. :stunned: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH... God bless you, Row. *Loses herself in the happiest of happy thoughts*

Gotye
This song will NOT leave my head. That chorus pops up on a regular basis . But I'm falling more and more in love with the song each time I hear it-it's so, so good. And the video is incredibly bizarre, but in a good way-I like it when a video makes me pay attention the whole way through. I've only heard one other song by him thus far as well, "Easy Way Out". Which I also liked. So now I'll be off to go back through this thread and check out the other stuff shared here, 'cause I'm definitely interested to hear more from the guy :).

The Damon Albarn thread.
Oooh. I LIKE :D.

U2
Man, I wish I could've seen the ZooTV tour. That performance of "Streets" from it was amazing. I loved the 360 performance, too-"Amazing Grace" was a very nice touch for that song. Definite chills with both performances. I love the "galloping horses" image, that's exactly what "Streets" sounds like. It's got that "escapist beauty" quality to it, that song, and I LOVE it when music makes me want to stretch my arms out bird-style and just fly or run away to some greater place or something like that. I'm 27 years old, so I think I'm too young yet to have a "bucket list", but regardless, if I were to make one, seeing U2 at least once in my lifetime is DEFINTELY on there in the top portion somewhere. The VERY moment I hear that U2 is touring again, I will pay close attention to the date when tickets go on sale, and will do everything in my power to be present at my computer the very day they go on sale. I'm trying to make sure nothing stops me this time around from seeing them. It would depend on how the Will.I.Am/Guetta one came out. If it was dance music along the lines of that "I'll Go Crazy..." remix (which I actually rather like. And I like the original song!) with a bit of "Discotheque" style thrown in as well, that could actually sound really interesting and cool (especially given that it'd be from 4 men in their 50s...that's the biggest challenge, trying to pull off that sort of sound at their age without people finding it awkward or "trying too hard to fit in"). But the other two albums? Yeah, agreed, definitely up for hearing those, too. Interesting to hear Chris giving advice-it's a tough call, if that stuff's been sitting around for years and there's not much else that needs to be done with it, yeah, I'd go ahead and start releasing that music post-haste. But if they want to noodle around with it a bit more, that would explain waiting. Don't want it to be too rushed, don't want to wait too long, either. Hm. My dad's birthday's in March, too! On the 27th, but still... So he was just shy of 30 when The Joshua Tree was released. Me, I was...2 years old, would turn 3 later in the year. "With Or Without You" has always been my favorite song from that album. That song is desert island material for me. I don't care how many times I've heard it over the years, I can never, ever tire of it. And I like that that review said something positive about "Trip Through Your Wires", I love that song. But it often seems I'm alone in that feeling. (I like Rattle & Hum, too, but that's for another discussion) This I would LOVE to hear. I like it when Coldplay taps into their darker side a bit, and they've got some great rock moments in their catalog, so yeah, if they were to go that route, I'd be all for it. Heck, they could go beyond "Bullet The Blue Sky"-styling-I fully believe they could well have an Achtung Baby in them somewhere as well. In terms of positive feeling, I can see where "City of Blinding Lights" and "Streets" could compare. But in terms of raw emotion, yeah, I can see where you think "Sometimes" might fit better. Different emotions, but both equally poignant. Like "Kite", "Sometimes" means a lot to me personally as well. *Thinks to self* Do I have that U2 ultimate encyclopedia? I can't remember now. Hm.

Coldplay - Cake Club Video Of The Week
Mara, that's right, I forgot about that bit from the Howard Stern show. Hm. I wonder what changed with that? When I played the download link for this concert, yeah, it came in at "A Rush of Blood..." for me. The YouTube one started off with "Politik". And I did notice the constant shirt change, which amused me, but that part didn't bother me too much (Chris looked good in either instance, so hey, fine enough by me :D). I'll try and watch the download version later, though. But my thoughts after watching the YouTube one...here we go:

Random Coldplay thoughts...
Oh! I didn't even notice the scratches! VERY cool ! And yeah, go two for two with Coldplay, definitely :D! If that does get their attention, that'll be wonderful.

Okay, somebody needs to make a photoshop of the guys doing a Calvin Klein "Obsession" type thing right now . I'd describe it as an "obsession" myself, because of this... *Cracks up* I kid you not, I actually almost DID write that, totally unintentionally. No lie.

Random Coldplay thoughts...
I like that sign :laugh3:! Did it catch Michael's eye? If Coldplay actually has that cake, that will be just fantastic . Hello! *Waves back* Yeah. Some weird mind trick or proof that the band's THAT deeply embedded in your thoughts. It's a great way to wake up! Easier to get a bit more motivated for whatever's going on that day if your favorite music is playing.

LOLdplay: I Can Haz Cake?
Well, hey, that's just as impressive, that you search that stuff out on your own! Good for you :). And your favorite bands can be an excellent means of educating you-that's why I always love it when I hear Coldplay, or any other band I like, talk about their musical influences, or what they're listening to now, or whatever, because I'm interested to hear that music they list as a result-if it influences my favorite bands logic follows that the chances are good I'll like it, then :D. And usually that turns out to be the case. My dad worked as a radio DJ for a good portion of his life. So he kinda HAD to be up on what's what out there for his job . But even before then, he just always loved music and collected albums like mad when he was a kid/teenager. And my mom did that as well, plus I have memories of being a little kid and sitting with her on nights my dad worked and watching MTV together (this was back in the '80s, when they still played music), and my dad made mix tapes that we used to play on trips and stuff, and there was all sorts of oldies music on there, and my dad would play records around the house on Saturday nights...I have good musical memories from my childhood :).

You know you're addicted to Coldplay when...
Oh, my god. That was FUN to watch and made me smile. Love the other ones, too. Fantastic stuff.

 Exactly! Hear, hear! *Raises bottle of pop* *Sighs dreamily* It's a good thing I'm sitting, otherwise my knees would be buckling right now.

Random Coldplay thoughts...
LOL. Hey, it's the Internet, believe me, that's not the weirdest thing one would stumble across out there in the web universe . I don't have a Twitter account, so no go on my end, either. But I'm interested to see if anyone actually does go through with the idea.
