  1. Like some kind of Mystery Machine
  2. Wow. I forgot I made this thread back in the day.....still haven't got around to listening to the 3rd album :(
  3. Maybe the comic will reveal further adventures aka "cough" an EP ;)
  4. One Direction? Wrong Direction Chris!
  5. Guess I will be using the ignore function after all............
  6. Radiohead could have never become the biggest band in the world they never were commerical enough. Also Radiohead are pretty unique which makes it pretty hard to go down that route.
  7. .....apology accepted. See you in the other threads we're currently jousting at!
  8. I'd rather they head in the direction of Radiohead than U2 that's for sure.
  9. But those bands did it in a different era so it's not the same.
  10. I'm a very sarcastic person and many of my comments are probably lost in translation - that doesn't justify attacks. Don't like what I say, simple put me on ignore. :)
  11. Mid 30's isn't old for a band come off it, maybe for the youth obsessed media but not to me, far from it - I ain't that shallow. Both Aerosmith and U2 in 14 years had done nearly twice as many albums as Coldplay, so it is wrong to compare them to bands that come from a different era when bands tended to release more albums and less singles.
  12. Not at all. Don't dish it out if you can't take it!
  13. That has nothing to do with what I said.
  14. Whatever the announcement is I just hope it starts with an apology for MX
  15. Elder statesmen?......they are only in their mid 30's. Financially there was no pressue after 2003. Coldplay appear to still be trying to be a hip young band - maybe it's because they like the music lol. So yeh your wrong again......
  16. well said........watch out for the fan girls though :)
  17. Ah the old snob argument. YAWN.
  18. They won't. After 4 albums this is the first time I have really taken issue with a release - so I shall grin and bear it. Anyway I'm sure you will be too busy in the Gwyneth thread to be bothered with what I think ;)
  19. Not really his loss if he doesn't like Coldplay anymore ;)
  20. Oh yeh that also happens to sound like the charts and doing a duet with one of the biggest corporate puppets there is......they are trying to hard to sound current. Chris lives in a bubble and sometimes he appears to have lost sense of reality judging by some of his silly comments of late.
  21. It's not the same at all. One Direction are not artists. They are corporate puppets - look closely you can even see the strings.
  22. Even defending them you still consider this.
  23. To be honest I prefer Paradise, POA to UFO and Us. ETIAWF is the song I skip. MTM is my favourite of this era.
  24. Of course they knew what Rihanna's voice sounds like, they probably had access to the software her record company uses for her ;)
