  2. ouch haha Welcome to the forum & enjoy the concert!
  3. Everything Now is a great song so I was looking forward to the album but hmmmm. I like Put Your Money on Me and Maybe We Don't Deserve Love, Signs Of Life is okay too. The rest is.. weird. I always have that with Arcade Fire though, love some songs and others, meh ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  4. Welcome to Coldplaying!
  5. I think he's been doing it more often recently Yep. She had a sign, apparently that helps: there's a crew member (totally forgot how she looks) who loves people with signs, she gave at least one other fan a plectrum too!
  6. 1. A L I E N S 2. Miracles (Someone Special) 3. All I Can Think About Is You 4. Hypnotised 5. Something Just Like This Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. That random half assed version of Hypnotised... why can't this band make sense. The EP just came out, why are they not promoting it? Hypnotised and Miracles should've been on the standard setlist already. Unless they believe America somehow deserves the new songs more than Europe :| /grumpiness Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I'd leave it at home just in case :/ I guess it's more difficult to try to get everyone to stop smoking.. It's Paris, pretty much everyone there smokes unfortunately :(
  9. Were you able to retrieve your camera @iranaway ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Welcome back! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Yep, metro or RER B is the best way to get there. My Paris metro knowledge is a little rusty but if you're near Place d'Italie I *think* the RER is faster. The show will finish relatively early so getting back won't be a problem, if they're smart they'll get some extra metros and trains too.

  15. I agree @Lambrex, I mean maybe I'm just too optimistic but haters are always louder than "the silent majority", especially on social media. I also think a lot of people are just uninformed and blame the reasons why they're frustrated on the wrong people, they're not necessarily horrible people. Edit: also they can't be the majority, the racist parties didn't win in Austria and The Netherlands (and Trump didn't win the popular vote). They still got way too many votes obviously but I believe there are still more good people than bad (...though on some days I read too many facebook comments and start to believe the opposite)

  22. i'm happy you can ignore the whole aspect of that song going about this subject when you just listen to it of the EP seperately without the video. It's fantastic to be charitable with the proceeds but i think it's negative to let the music get influenced by it. Again it's Coldplay so they don't care to much of what is the most "popular" option. But it kinda bugs me Coldplay took this step. just out of interest, why do you think that's negative?
  23. oh my fucking god I love this song. I can't even find an accurate adjective to describe it. Finally another Coldplay song that isn't predictable! I love songs like Hymn For The Weekend but I'm so so happy they released something more experimental. That weird sound at 0:23, the backing vocals, the strings, the drums!! They kinda remind me of The National too @dieselbenz, and that's a very very good thing. The lyrics are a little vague but I like that, I love me some mystery. Cool that this song is luring alienated (hihi haha) fans back, too! But most of all, welcome back, political Coldplay. I fucking missed you. Such an important message. Like many of you probably I live in a country where certain leading political parties and their supporters are often rather hostile towards refugees and it bothers me a lot. I'm not completely sure why, I could just not care so much and not get upset over it but I do. And it feels so ... I dunno, right when a band that means so much to you cares too.
