What's the best way for me to avoid stubbing my toes all the time?

I've seen lots of homeless people. The hard thing is, (at least in Mongolia), any money you give them is probably gonna go towards alcohol instead of food or clothing, and therefore, not help them very much. Lots of homeless people would look through the garbage outside our apartment building. They were usually looking for bottles that could be recycled, to get a bit of money for them. I don't know what lots of these people would do in the winter time. It get's really cold in Mongolia. -40° was quite normal... There are also lots of people who fake being homeless. One guy, for the entire 12 years we were in Mongolia, had a sign that said his ger (yert-like tent) had just burnt down, and he needs money. So it would be nice to try to help them, but it's hard to always know how.

Hard one. I love the sound and smell of rain (especially heavy rain with thunder and lighting), but I love snow so much. It transforms everything around in to a thing of beauty. Would you rather have a gluten allergy or a dairy allergy?
