Yeay! I hoped a thread like this would show up. Nothing organized as of now, but it'd be incredible if we could get something simple for at least one show. I think we have enough people where we could do something small if we're willing and able.. how crazy would it be if the guys took notice of us! I was actually messing around with some designs some days ago and out of boredom started making some for CCC. (reduced) ^That was one.. looks very basic I know, but I'll add some info today and see how everyone likes. And ignore the beans! I forgot to remove them :lol: And I also liked grange's idea of making business cards to pass out, since they'd be small (less stuff to print) and there's less chances of it ending up on the floor. We could add brief info of the club and our goals on it.. I'll try to whiff up some of those cards too. So I guess if we really want to get organized, we'd need: -People that are going to the upcoming shows and are willing to print and pass out some of the fliers, or make some themselves. -More designers (because I'm really no expert! :lol:) -Ideas on what people would like to see on the fliers/cards if anyone has any. These things don't have to be just for saturday.. The Daily Star.. of course. Chris really likes the Foos, I remember he mentioned them (and sang a bit of Best of You) in the Fuji Rock Fest as well.. I doubt he'd do something like that and especially to a band he respects? And Mimixxx when did Dave say negative things about Chris? I've never heard of that.. and I hope it isn't true, since it'd make Dave a bit of a hypocrite. I have quite a few pics of him with Chris and it doesn't fit the part that he'd bash him. Why hang out with him then? :confused:

Hmm.. so far I think grange1975 said s/he made (or was making?) some CCC business cards to hand out at IOW. I think that's a great idea.. I can also make some fliers if there's any interest.. it'd be awesome if we could have something bigger that contains a little more info handed out as well! Soooooo! Well.. since they boys were gigging Ladder to the Sun way back in 2002/2003, they probably left it out of X&Y for the sake of having new material in a new album. I doubt we'll see it in the next album as well. I do wonder why they didn't include it as an X&Y b-side though.. that would've been heaven!

I wouldn't believe that.. if that radio station had gotten their information from an accurate source, they'd know that Moses was never a b-side. It's just an unreleased track.

That was for a UK charity segment called Comic Relief. The Justin part is really funny, but the video itself is kinda sad. They show a lot of malnourished children and poverty throughout Coldplay's performance.

Gah, and where's KT Tunstall? It's mighty nice to see Nirvana, Alanis Morissette, Muse, The White Stripes, Snow Patrol on there though.. and of course Coldplay! Yay! I do notice Eric Clapton didn't quite make it.. :mellow: (couldn't help it.. :lol:)

I've read they do a lot of covers. The only ones I know of (this tour) are Wild Thing, We Can Work it Out and Walk the Line. And a lot of "jamming".. and different versions of existing songs, like that electric version of Trouble from the dvd. You can see a little of their soundcheck somewhere in that Kool Haus video where in one part they're singing A Message and in another clip Chris is just singing something completely unintelligible. And there's an little interview clip from Norway where you can see a bit of Talk being soundchecked, with a funny beat in the background. And that fancam soundcheck vid for the 2003 Jimmel Kimmel performance is pretty nice too! :smiley:

Yeah I remember I had the most trouble with Chris and Will. Chris' angle is from the top, as if you were in a high building looking down on Chris. His arms are on the top of his head, and you can see his nose and his back. I think his is my favorite! :smiley:

I don't use iTunes..so I'm not sure it would be the same thing, but the only time my rips come out low is when I rip to a low quality kbps. Like the first time I ripped a CD instead of having it mp3 at 192kbps (or higher), it was at 62kbps and it sounded very low. Try checking the quality settings (if there's any?) instead of the volume. :smiley:

Hmm.. I looked into it a bit and it doesn't have a USB port. Another way would be if it were Bluetooth compatible but I didn't see anything saying it was?.. Does it record? My friend's phone doesn't have a ton of features but it does record, so she just plays whatever it is she wants as a ringtone and records it with the phone. If it doesn't record, I don't see how it would be possible without purchasing the ringtones.. :sad:

What phone do you have? I know with mine, I use a USB cord to plug from the phone to the computer and I can transfer anything that way. Not all phones bring a USB port so see if your does. :smiley:
