  1. pretty cool idea, havent seen any though
  2. radiohead is the shit. i wonder what thom yorke thinks of coldplay???????
  3. biggest problem would probably having to retune more frequently. The amp shouldn't be a problem however I would use common sense that extremes of temps should be avoided, but unless you are freezing the room out at night and heating it up like an oven during the day, it should be ok with the changes its experiencing now.
  4. where are you from?
  5. alright i came across this video on youtube. It's coldplays cover of "Can't get you out of my head" from kylie minogue. I think it actually isnt half bad. Does anyone have tabs for this??? I have looked on 911 tabs but no luck. The guitar sounds pretty sweet in it. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdSQbGut6wA]YouTube- coldplay cover kylie minogue[/ame]
  6. hey yellowtalk, so that little color box on that white guitar is called a kaoss pad mod?? can you buy it seperately? that shit looks expensive.
  7. is this like an arpeggio?
  8. whats a tremolo pick??
  9. i think its ok considering its one of the easier coldplay songs to play and mess up on (with all the disortion, delay and muffled vocals.) might want to change the name of the band (if that is the name of your band, i hope it isn't)
  10. i disagree. i think buckland and greenwood sound like these guys at times. i never said carbon copies. they use similar arrangements of notes with cool effects. i believe this is why many people love buckland so much
  11. sounds like you know what you're doing with guitars and playing. in your case you'd probably get good pretty fast. you can't go wrong with a standard fender tele. i've heard epiphone les pauls are decent. i'd forget the $275 limit you have. save up extra and take a look at the guitars i suggested. for 275 you could always buy a starter pack but like i said, you'd get good fast and only want more. for amps i'd go with one of those multieffect amps. i have a line 6 112 spider 2. its good and has 7 effects built in. this would give you a good idea of what effects you like and leave room open for buying seperate better pedals later
  12. i know this is a coldplay website but i wanted to know if anyone heard of these guys or likes their music?? i think they are awesome. sometimes i feel like there's a little bit of coldplay/radiohead in their songs. anyway, if you haven't heard of this band i suggest taking a listen. if you like coldplay odds are you'd like explosions in the sky. youtube has a ton of videos.
  13. i have a semi hollow body and it sounds fine. ebows are great to have in the collection anyway. you always change pickups which i'm not sure will make a difference.
  14. is there any way you could play this on guitar? i'd like to try. can someone tab it out?
  15. why is this song only 49 seconds long???? would it kill chris martin to extend this a little bit?? what the hells the point in playing such a great melody and then cutting it short?
  16. couldnt find a tab for the lead on here, anyone have a good one? kapone only has the acoustic
  17. i think the butterflies make it look gay, but whatever makes you happy i guess
  18. hey thanks that tab sounds pretty good
  19. here is the link to what i'm talking about, its not very good quality but gives you an idea

  21. thanks, if i remember correctly he was playing the notes higher up on the neck.
  22. In philly during the concert buckland finished the song thats usuallly on piano on his guitar. Does anyone know the tab for it? its very short..
  23. 1 philly ticket for sale ticket is 200 level, i'm asking for 60 bucks, if you are facing the stage the seat is straight back and slightly to the left...not the best seat but its still not that bad. send me a message
  24. i can't hear you sliding very well that's all...maybe just your own individual interpretation of the solo
