  1. I second that. Such a good sound. :) Totally makes me want to listen to VLVODAAHF and Lovers In Japan in particular. :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Coldplay, Friends (the 90's TV show, yeah) and TopGear Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Reviews are always subjective, but not entirely useless. Sometimes you can get hold of some little gems, facts you didn't know etc. What I dislike about some reviews/reviewers is the type of arguments and the language they use. Many of these arguments could easily be turned around to being in favor of the 'target' of the review. I feel I always come across the word 'inoffensive' when reading Coldplay reviews. There are of course different senses of the word, but really I don't see how being 'inoffensive' can be a bad thing. It's basically saying, hey look this is a terrible album 'cause it's not OFFENDING anyone. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. I really really REALLY love that set list! So brilliant!!! :-D I hope 1) they use the same in the royal Albert hall 2) I manage to get tickets Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  6. Dunno. Not impossible. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Sure, but it's not going to be a standing area. Gigs and Tours clearly says "Arena seats". Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Okay so a little review maybe? The quality is not great, but you can get the overall idea of the song. The drumbeat seems quite dominant, but I'm guessing that's either due to the recording or they'll improve the performance in the future - like Another's Arms which really became a lot smoother after iTunes Festival. Good lyrics, Chris' voice sounds good, some cool synths going on. But can't wait to hear the studio version and future live versions of this. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  11. Listen from 1 hour, 4 mins, 50 secs in the full interview: [video=youtube;9pF7bS_4JnE] :) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. This is what I think he means when he says "in the round" Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Okay, so I don't think you can get standing tickers for this show. Chris mentioned in the Zane Lowe interview that they chose The Hall because they could play "in the round", as in in the middle where the removable seats are. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Pretty very sure about that yeah. I mean why not? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Yeah, seriously how do you know!? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  16. Wow, AIMH was really amazing. They really improved it a lot since iTunes Festival. Wasn't too psyched about it the, but sure am now! So moving. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  19. This is all said with a smile: 1) Keeping clean takes WORK. There's no escaping that. 2) Keep clean, don't make clean. 3) Say "goodnight" to your apartment - spend 1 min putting things back in their place or throw them out. 4) Clean the place once a week. A small to medium sized place can get back in order in one hour. Don't forget: panels, lamps, spider friendly corners (don't forget to look up) and other non-obvious places. 5) Vacuum the place twice a week - it'll help keeping the amount of dust down on every surface so it's a worthy investment. 6) Getting the dish washing done every day REALLY helps the overall impression. 7) Things need to have a place or be thrown out. Otherwise it'll be too daunting a task to "reset" or say "goodnight" to your apartment every day. 8) Have less stuff. Throw stuff out. Buy less stuff. You get the point. :) 9) A clean bathroom also really helps the overall impression. It needs to be KEPT clean, otherwise you'll end up needing professionals for the job. 10) Order makes cleaning MUCH easier. 11) And like Batman very wisely said, make cleaning enjoyable by listening to great music - maybe energetic Coldplay songs? ASFOS, Charlie Brown, Hurts Like Heaven, etc. :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Yeah, I guess you could say that DAAHF = School + DAAHF + The Escapist. School is the quiet first bit before the song really starts. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. No - is there a new email?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Yes, the email with info for NYC was the latest email. In that email they wrote that info for the remaining shows would be emailed soon. As in LA 19 May and onwards. The way it's expressed sounds to me like they will email info for the remaining shows - all at once. Perhaps it's too good to be true but nonetheless. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I'm hoping this will be the Major Minus of GS. A real rocker. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  24. They wrote in the latest email that they would send info for the remaining gigs "soon". I understand that as ALL of the remaining gigs in one email. In that case they couldn't wait till a week before. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  25. This. What makes me slightly uneasy about this is thinking about how great it could've been. But I've decided to just enjoy it as it is. After all it's just one song. ;) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
