I'm actually pretty butthurt that people don't like this song for some reason! It's my favourite and I really can relate to the lyrics. I don't think Chris' lyric writing has changed, if anything it's gotten better. You just need to think about what he was probably (obviously) going through at the time while writing this album.....I think he's right that he uses songwriting as a diary. When you think about what was happening in his life when he wrote this, it makes a lot more sense that the lyrics are "cheesier" than whatever your standard is, lol. If anything, thinking about the personal side to this song makes it more painful to listen to, because you know that he was hurting at that point. But oh well, just my take on it. (It does sound incredible live, though.)

What I did for the NYC concert is, I had my friend call beforehand to see if they would sell to her right then (she lives in NYC), and they said no. I would just call ahead and ask them tbh :)

I didn't end up going!! Remember how I lost my debit card yesterday? Well I spent 5 bucks of cash on getting back to my friends house in Brooklyn this morning because I stayed in Manhattan all night....I did hear that they don't exit through the front of NBC Studios anymore, and that they go through an underground garage, so I don't know if anyone even saw or met them today. But honestly, once was enough!! I'm more than fulfilled :)

Love the studio version, loved the live version last night. Definitely one of my top faves on this album. Not expecting that to change when I hear the rest of the songs.

I was literally sobbing haha meeting them was very important to me. :) I left before they played LIFL and True Love (so I could go to the barricade at the side of the building for when they came out) but I heard a recording of True Love and ughhhh.......SO GOOD!! Thanks so much, I'm honestly the happiest girl in the world because of yesterday. They were all soooo nice, I can't believe how lucky I am.

I met Chris and Jonny and Phil and Dan. I cried. Hard. I told Chris something that was really important to me and he listened. Tonight was the best night of my entire life.

The day after he sent me a text saying "room for one more, just letting you know" which made me start developing a LOT of feelings for him, he starts distancing himself from me. Great. I literally cannot fucking believe this happened to me again, and I've had a crush on him since October. This literally hurts so bad, I thought that maybe this time I could let myself be vulnerable, but he ditched me. How awesome for me. On the bright side, I see Coldplay in less than 24 hours.

Update on me going to NBC Studios: Not going. :cry: My friend is tired and I don't really feel like going into the city by myself. Sorry guys!! Promise I'll be going there after Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday!!
