  1. Sorry, Thalia. Umm...basically it's my last day of high school and we can cause as much havoc as we want without getting into trouble. I was just going around egging and flouring people and chucking water bombs around  The special this year was we bought 2 chickens and labelled them 1 and 3 with post-it notes and let them loose and the school is currently spending their time hunting for the 2nd one :laugh3:
  2. I bet the stock market for the ferry company would shoot up. Anyways, it's my last day of school and I'm busy causing mayhem :D
  3. What would Chris and Will be doing?
  4. This is how the band will break up  Guy and Jonny will form Buckman Modelling Agency and be really successful.
  5. *Chris looks back at Jonny being Swallowed in the Sea of paps Chris: "I won't ever let go! I promise!" Jonny: "WTF man, I thought we had something!"
  6. That sounds something like Chris would do. Or he would shower them all in Love Buttons and escape while they were all distacted
  7. I'm sure you'd get tons of attractive headlines
  8. Fucking paparazzi. I swear if I was a celebrity I would get charged for assault every week.
  9. Supposed To Be - Tom Odell
  10. Who was gonna argue with you?
  11. I would be less lazy and less of a pain in the arse
  12. I know, but the original would have fitted in I think
  13. I honestly thought they were gonna release wedding bells. From what we heard it would've fitted right in :/
  14. Songs do indeed sound better on the radio. Funny you should say actually, Don't Panic came on when I was coming home today and I..panicked :D But yeah, I think we need more GS radio play! Maybe when Ink comes out, the popularity will be boosted!
  15. $750,000? That's around £500,000 I think. Well, if I ever win the lottery, I'm having a Coldplay concert at my home and you're all invited :D I'll spend the rest of the £500,000 on getting our poor, deprived Coldplayers in South America return tickets to England.
  16. I had thought about joining for a good 6 months, but I saw how fan-crazy some of you were and I hadn't even got all 5 LPs at that time so I was like: "Nope! Not a true fan yet!" :)

My reasons for enjoying Yellow more are: 1. Without it, the Coldplay legacy definitely wouldn't exist as we know it. 2. Midnight was predominantly done by Jon Hopkins But yeah, love both, just Yellow more :)
  18. I literally got an adrenaline rush, I never sing in front of people! Songs sound so much better on the radio.
  19. OMFG, today on the school bus, the radio was on and Don't Panic came on and where I live you hear old-school CP like once a month. Then my friend in front stuck on We Can't Stop and I literally started hitting him and I didn't even mean to. They listened to it and were like: "WTF is this crap?" And I was just to busy with my eyes closed like "AND WE LIVE IN A BEAUTIFUL WORLD!" Yeah, I got abused for it and there must have been about a dozen homophobic insults thrown at me. It was worth it though!!!
  20. Tbh, the simple ghost stories t-shirt and trousers match more than the MX era.

Probably better described as the hidden gem of Ghost Stories, O (Fly On) is the true heart breaker of the album; delicately placed at the end to leave what ever is left of your composure (and dignity) in ruins. It is beautiful from start to finish. A simple piano riff runs throughout, played with such sensitivity it is as if Chris is plucking at your own heart strings. The hook ("A flock of birds") used as a metaphor to how love can land in some places temporarily but, inevitably, must eventually take off, leaving nothing behind but fond memories of how they moved in unison and how beautiful it was. The chorus (" And I always look up to the sky, pray before the dawn") represents on how Chris is left alone, casting about for something he cherished so much and praying for it to return to him. He then slips so easily and proficiently back into his falsetto, cooing: "Cause they fly always, one minute they arrive, next you know they're gone...they Fly On." Again, he is emphasising on how inevitable it is that love will always end. He then alters the piano chord scheme ever so slightly before exclaiming: "Maybe one day, I can fly with you." This is him looking to the future and how he is not suitable enough to fly among those he has lost and how it will take time for him in order to learn how to love again. The outro (O) is a stunning piece of music. It follows the intro of the album, making the album loop, only in this case, Apple Martin and her friend: Mabel Krichefski are the lead singers. This is something very precious as Chris and Gwyneth often keep the children behind closed doors in order to protect them, but Chris making this exception makes it sound astounding. Guy providing a small subtle bass line with the two girls whispering: "Don't ever let go" something of a catch phrase off Chris' own father. This makes the outro sound haunting, almost creepy, but unique and inspiring at the same time. In conclusion, my personal favourite emotive song of the past decade, on par with Fix You and The Scientist and just below Politik in my opinion. A lovely song that combines the old with new in such a way, it cannot be put into words. An absolute work of art! 10/10
  22. It is definitely a gamble though, if you leave it too long, the prices will skyrocket!
