  3. I found this text in this blog --> http://www.benjaminwagner.com/2008/06/01/viva-la-vida-or-death-and-all-his-friends/ " Viva La Vida (Or, Death And All His Friends) June 1st, 2008 I’m sitting next to Charlize Theron in the fifth row of The Gibson Amphitheater when the string section walks in. Coldplay, a little matchy-match in their quasi-revolutionary, epilette-laden outfits, tear into the hook: four synthy chords and a house-inspired beat. Behind them, naked, desaturated Romanesque soldiers storm an ancient gate. The stage, once cast is deep blue, turns a fierce red. Aaaand… cue the tympani. Drummer Will Champion lays his mallet into the deep, copper kettles, then strikes a small church bell. Chris Martin paces the stage on the balls of his feet, straining his neck towards the high notes. I hear Jerusalem bells a ringing Roman Cavalry choirs are singing Be my mirror my sword and shield My missionaries in a foreign field For some reason I can’t explain I know Saint Peter won’t call my name Never an honest word But that was when I ruled the world Before the last chord rings out, MTV Movie Awards Executive Producer Mark Burnette swoops down the aisle, making a seersucker jacket (collar up, of course), ripped jeans and Chucks punctuated by one of those tattered Israeli scarfs look pretty rock ‘n roll. Nine colleagues follow him, crowding around Martin in a semi-circle. An hour later, the entire stage has been re-arranged. Which is roughly when it occurred to me that I am releasing my new CD, “The Invention Of Everything Else,” on the same day Coldplay is releasing its “Viva La Vida (Or, Death And All His Friends).” ‘Huh,’ I thought. ‘Not exactly a Kanye vs. 50 Cent scenario.’ I share this insight with my colleagues, reporter James Montgomary and producer CJ Smith, excuse myself, turn towards Ms. Theron’s placeholder image. I brush past her, break through the doors, and make way into the California sun."
  4. WOW! So many news!! Thanks a lot!! AAwwwwww I'd kill to see Chris singing Don't Cha! The instruments are really cool, they all look awesome! They're back
  5. I agree with you, bn22my. I think most of these people envy Coldplay success and just can't stand the fact that the band members don't fit the rock stars' cliche. Because it'd be very easy to criticize their bad habits or their latest affairs and so on. Being good boys that make great music is too much to people who failed at life and can only feel better bashing others. I understand lots of people simply don't like their songs, which is normal, I'm talking about the ones who are particularly worried in letting all the world know how much they hate Coldplay.
  6. Thanks for posting! Great reading :)
  7. Good luck you all! :) Fingers crossed!

  13. I've just found this... Increased magic for the Magic Ball The Magic Ball is an advertising product from Lumino. De Magic Ball is glass ball that projects advertising text messages in very eye-catching way. Using fast rotating LED technology an optical illusion is created in which the text messages seem to 'float' inside the ball. By default the texts for the Magic Ball are programmed locally and manually, using an infra-red remote control. Necoso has realized a number of ID1021 based solutions for the Magic Ball that add more 'magic' and enable remote and automated updating of the Magic Ball messages. The solutions include support for programming the texts for one or more Magic Balls using a web page, SMS, or GPRS. This caught my attention because Dave Holmes said the tour will feature "lots of projection" and "really blow people away"... Who knows :P
  14. Hey Stefan, that's such a great thing! Don't miss the chance of trying it, boy! You could shoot a video showing a day of your life where each part of the video represents a Coldplay song (the song would be playing in the background, to make it clear, maybe with the lyrics - remember the judges probably aren't die hard CP fans). For example you wake up in a room where everything is Yellow or you start doing things backwards while The Scientist is playing (remember to choose the most know songs in your country). The main intention would be to show that Coldplay has such a big inffluence in your life that your ordinary day is filled of Coldplay without your perception (the video would be exaggerated but it's art and a competition, so don't bother). It's just an idea, it's ok if you think it's crap, I just hope you can get the tickets :)
  15. Fantastic!!
