  1. It's timed just right... beautiful.
  2. Something about that little rehearsal of BrokEn makes me appreciate the song so much more
  3. Jeez, that's a longer walk than I expected
  4. Awww, here comes the huddle! One of the people they were chatting with just mentioned a heater lol
  5. The English voice at the end of Bani Adam that says "May there be peace and love and perfection throughout all creation, through God" really sounds like Coleman Banks, the person who reads The Guest House in Kaleidoscope. I think it's the same person. Perhaps Bani Adam is meant to be a spiritual successor to Kaleidoscope.
  6. Make This Go On Forever - Snow Patrol
  7. "And the Holy Roman Army Said your heart beats like everyone else" Sounds kind of like a Viva-era lyric to me!
  8. I wasn't planning on starting a free trial, but I guess if I have to for this broadcast then I will. I doubt they'll ever play Flags live just because it's a bonus track, but if they do, maybe it'll be in one of the few upcoming shows or it'll be a C-stage song on a future tour.
  9. OMG that was you?!? Dude you are so lucky! Congrats! I thought that question sounded familiar, like someone here had said they'd ask it, just forgot who that member was!
  10. Okay, this is weird, because I'm not a premium member but there's some stuff I can watch and some stuff I can't watch. :joy: I can watch this video of Chris playing Bani Adam though, I love that atmosphere...
  11. Awwwww, that was a really sweet Q&A. People asked some really great questions and I loved these new insights into the album and era in general. I think my favorite bit was Chris and Will's answer to the question about swearing and how their creative process usually prevents that.
  12. Oh, I confused the two  Good to know though, I'm watching the Q&A now.
  13. It's alright, at least I have the version you linked to so that'll do for now! :)
  14. Exactly, it tells us more about how good of an interviewee Chris is than why there won't be a tour. Typical tabloid misinformation from the BBC there. Oh my goodness same, I woke up, saw this, and immediately thought it was a tour announcement :joy:
  15. It says it's unavailable on my end, probably because I'm in North America.
  16. I'm in the US and can't see the Q&A because I'm not a premium member :worried: I was planning on just watching the unpaid content and relying on the kind folks here because I already know I wouldn't use my free trial for anything else now that I've got so much to watch on Disney Plus :joy: They're playing Viva AND Sparks?!? This is a dream come true! I really hoped they'd do that... here's to hoping they play Flags too but I think that's pretty unlikely just because it's a bonus track :joy: it's an amazing song though, I hope it gets an official release here in North America before long.
  17. I'm listening to Flags on repeat and oh my goodness I can't get enough of this. This song is hitting me harder and harder in the feels as I pay more attention to the lyrics... "I know that I am living, can you show me how to live?" is such a simple lyric, but I think it's my favorite from this era.
  18. It's such a sweet song... yet raw and not really cheesy, with Jonny absolutely killing it! And I sense a kind of sadness underneath, like maybe the speaker is talking to a passed loved one and asking for advice. "I know that I am living, can you show me how to live?" is one of my favorite lyrics from this era.
  19. I feel like they'll play Orphans, maybe Champion of the World and/or Everyday Life, some standard fare like Viva and Paradise, maybe something like AOAL.
  20. I think you just hit the nail on the head. I hope that once their contract expires, they'll pull a Radiohead and release music through smaller, less mainstream record labels instead. Maybe that's what they need in order to let their creativity truly blossom.
  21. Owl John and Frightened Rabbit have earned a fan over the past week or so since I found out about Los Angeles, Be Kind's connection to Champion of the World. Both are beautiful songs and the latter is a great tribute to the former.
  22. I think if Coldplay were to do a self-titled album, it'd be a compilation album rather than something with new material. I seem to remember reading about them once saying they'd never do a greatest hits album, but they've been known to break from tradition and change their minds about things.
