Could this music video be similar to the one for Talk, but with a more futuristic aesthetic? Talk is definitely meant to look like retro sci-fi, but this looks like it'll have realistic CGI scenery and special effects. I have a feeling it'll show Chris (and maybe the other band members) roaming around the wreckage until he finds some of the same aliens that were holograms in the first music video. So, more dancing Kaoticans. Or, it'll have motion capture like the AOAL video, except this time all the band members are Kaoticans. Who knows? I'm looking forward to see what they'll do! Regardless, this pic that Phil tweeted looks so cool.

It really does. And the world of the MX comics just so happens to be a planet in its own right, just like Kaotica (which is most likely the location that's shown in the picture). So I'm really hoping there are similar story elements in this new era of Coldplay's career... maybe another elaborate backstory for the songs just like MX.

It seems the BTS fans have now caught on. Nothing is confirmed, but they got Coldplay trending on Twitter because now they've found the supposed leaked lyrics. Ahhhhhh yes, Kirboh's Fool's Gold hoax. I do remember that. I recall Coldplay fans doing something similar back in 2014. They took random background music from a BBC TV spot and tried to pass it off as a snippet of Miracles before the real song was released. People were doing this with Higher Power too by posting the leaked AOAL demo Legends and claiming it was Higher Power. I love this fanbase but there are some irritating people who really just want attention and nothing else. So we should be skeptical even if somebody posts an audio clip on social media and says it's a leaked snippet of My Universe. I agree with you concerning the second single. Why would Higher Power get so much promotion right before the band releases a second single that could arguably have an even better chance of becoming a hit? Just like what BTS is doing with Butter. I had similar thoughts in regard to the "They're coming" postcards, it just felt like it was too soon for Coldplay to be teasing another single.

Me too. The sounds of K-Pop can vary but I personally tend to enjoy J-Pop a lot more. I'd rather see Coldplay collaborate with an artist like LiSA than BTS, that's for sure. Chvrches worked with J-Pop group Wednesday Campanella a few years ago for their song Out of My Head and I personally love that song. Not gonna lie, I have low expectations for a BTS collaboration. I don't really like BTS's usual style of music. I think their fanbase is far more obnoxious on social media than that of any other popular artist. But hey, maybe it's not so bad. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised. Human Heart is really good. But it's not something I would expect to top the charts and get a lot of radio airplay. Maybe Coldplay are trying to go for a collaboration that has a good chance of being successful. And it would make sense if they don't end up releasing it for a few more weeks, just because BTS is currently promoting their new single Butter.

Music of the Spheres vs The Escapist

In My Place will probably be back. They didn't play it in 2014 either when they did the small concerts for Ghost Stories. The chorus is a good crowd singalong moment in an arena or a stadium, even though In My Place is not as well-known as other songs like Fix You and Viva that the crowd will sing along with every time.

In hindsight, after hearing the intro to the Glastonbury live stream set, I think it's safe to say you're right. It's probably called Music of the Spheres (because of the computerized voice that says it), though Alien Radio could be an alternate title. Maybe there will be a reprise of the intro at the very end of the album, just like how The Escapist and O are both longer versions of the intros to Life In Technicolor and Always In My Head, respectively. Or there will be something like Colour Spectrum or A Hopeful Transmission that isn't the final track on the album but still contains elements of the instrumental intro. Maybe there will be a few short interludes that contain Alien Radio clips. They've already done something similar with the audio clip at the end of When I Need A Friend. They could even do something like Kaleidoscope or Bani Adam and play a spoken word clip over music.

Strange... oh well, I guess Epic Games is just experimenting with its own strange teasers. The similarity with Coldplay's teasers was just a coincidence. But why in the world did people like @HowCouldIForget get a postcard if they have never even played Fortnite before? Maybe Epic Games just figured their own game is popular enough that they could send postcards to random people who have bought games online.
