  2. Wow! That looks amazing and I love all the symbolism! :) As for the riddle, I see Don't Panic, Yellow, Trouble, For You, Bigger Stronger, Such A Rush, Everything's Not Lost, Parachutes, Careful Where You Stand, Only Superstition, High Speed, Ode To Deodorant, Brothers & Sisters, and See You Soon. I think I might see Shiver or Spies, too, but I'm less certain about that particular reference.
  3. Keane is definitely one of my favorite bands. They are somewhere in my top 10, maybe even top 5. I've never seen them live, but I hope to do so someday in the future once they get back touring again. My favorite Keane album at the moment is Perfect Symmetry. They are just on hiatus at the moment. Apparently they don't want to split up for good, they just want to take a break to focus on their own lives and solo projects for a little while.
  4. Meet me in blue sky, meet me again in the rain
  5. Rainy Day (also has a lot of Davide Rossi's strings)
  6. Could it be U.F.O.? It was the b-side on a limited edition vinyl single, it features a lot of falsetto, and it ends with a short instrumental part that segues into Princess Of China. EDIT: Never mind! :D
  7. That is one of my favorite little interview snippets. :) Coldplay's music has changed a lot, for better or worse, but videos like this one are so heartwarming because you can see the personal journey that Chris has taken across the band's career. It's almost like a story arc from X&Y to AHFOD. Chris has gone from from feeling confused, unconfident, and incomplete (X&Y), to philosophical and trying to find answers (Viva), fighting the darkness in the world (MX), hitting rock bottom when his marriage fell apart (most of Ghost Stories), and finally realizing the beauty of life and accepting himself the way he is (the last 2 tracks of Ghost Stories, Miracles, and all of AHFOD). Now all of a sudden I know what the band meant when they said that AHFOD is like the final book in a series.
  8. Welcome back, @alicjanna ! :D Wow, I think the Coldplay gods were shining their light upon you. ;) I'm so glad that you had a fun time, especially with something Coldplay-related waiting around every corner for you to discover it. :)
  9. Don't Let It Break Your Heart (also preceded by an instrumental intro)
  10. Me too, I think it's one of the best songs on the entire Viva album. It's also an awesome show closer and I wish the band would just go ahead and play it again. They already soundchecked it about a month ago. Welcome to the forums! :D
  11. Wow, they are actually playing Let Down again. That's as fantastic as Coldplay doing See You Soon a few times on the current tour. So now Let Down, Creep, Optimistic, and My Iron Lung have returned after long absences. Unfortunately they aren't touring very extensively at the moment so I still won't get to see them. Oh well, True Love Waits, right? ;)
  12. I actually didn't think of Atlas being a potential answer, but nope. ;)
  13. I personally loved the energy at my show, but it wasn't the full stadium production so perhaps that is one reason why I found the set more entertaining than any of the AHFOD shows that I've watched from the comfort of my home. The atmosphere just felt more genuine without the giant backdrop and it was nice to see more improvisation and "spontaneous" moments. This felt more like MX than most of the more recent shows. I would've liked to see some older songs like God Put A Smile Upon Your Face, Shiver, and In My Place, rather than the typical "Newplay" overload. But at least they proved to me that they still don't need an elaborate stage to put on a good show. But that leaves me with a question that I wish I could ask the band. If they don't need an elaborate production to play an enjoyable concert, why do they even bother doing so? Just look at the Twisted Logic tour. They played in a lot of arenas (and even a few football stadiums in Europe), but the only stage fluff was a screen behind the band and some lasers during Clocks. That was it. And if you ask me, that era was their live peak.
  14. I'll just go ahead and do one now. I'm thinking of a song that: 1. The band doesn't play live anymore 2. Has lyrics inspired by a series of movies 3. Has one word in the title
  15. If this thread becomes A Ghost, I would feel So Sad and Low. But that won't happen; Death Will Never Conquer!
  16. "Oh they say you can see your future Inside a glass of water The riddles and the rhymes Will I see heaven in mine?"
  17. X Marks The Spot?
  18. So, I came across this site (https://www.vagalume.com.br/coldplay/parachutes-full-version.html) and found the lyrics for what appears to be a "full version" of Parachutes (the song, not the album). Does anybody know if they are real? Or are they just fan made?
  19. Up&Up (has "up" in its title :D )
  20. I've seen a bunch of riddles on this thread, but that may have been the best one. Well done, @guy42 :D
