  3. That sounds like me a few years ago. :( I'm so glad you decided to mention it because you're part of a big family of Coldplayers who have got your back. Don't give up hope, ok? We are here for you and if you need to talk about anything at all, feel free to PM myself or anyone else in this thread. And have you sought professional help for your depression? I was once depressed enough that I might not even be here now if I hadn't done that. Please don't feel ashamed to do that, ok? Don't ever give up hope that there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Remember this Coldplay lyric: "Nothing's too broken to find a way back."
  4. I am 18. Sorry if that makes you feel old! :P Here's a fun little tidbit: if I had been born 9 days before, I would've been born on the same day that Chris, Jonny, Guy, and Will performed their first real gig under the name Starfish.
  5. Prospekt's March. The emotion is unmatched and the bit where Chris sings "I don't wanna diiiiiiiie, on my ownnnn here tonight" is one of my favorite moments from any Coldplay song. As for songs that come close: The Scientist, Fix You, Amsterdam, Everything's Not List, Oceans, Fly On, Us Against The World, Sparks, Gravity, Everglow, Midnight, Always In My Head, Moving To Mars... there are so many great downtempo Coldplay songs!
  6. I wish they could rock the stadium like this during an actual concert. One I Love sounds like it could be just as good live as it was 13 years ago.
  7. Whoa, that could be huge news! I wonder if the new song is just an AHFOD leftover or if it's brand new for a film soundtrack?
  8. A lot of rumors have said that they will come to the Philippines on the current tour, and they have played in Singapore in the past. So don't lose hope!
  9. You are not the only one! Life Is For Living is especially beautiful... "'Cause in the ennnnnnnnd, there's only us, And oh my friennnnnnd, there's only love..."
  10. That venue looks even smaller than the Dingwalls club they played at in the early days and in 2011! Wow!
  11. These are seriously some of my favorite performances so thank you for posting them. :) If only I had been much older than 7 when Coldplay headlined Glastonbury in 2005...
  12. I just bought a poster of the band on Amazon, but it wasn't an album cover. I am checking right now and they do have a nice AROBTTH poster for only $7.60 in U.S. money. Just search for "Coldplay album poster" and it should be near the top. Other than that, I don't see any other album cover posters other than smaller Viva ones that come in packs of 4 with posters of band photos.
  13. Oh boy, I can't wait to listen to this!!! The setlist doesn't really look like anything other than a shorter version of the main tour set, but I love these more intimate performances so I'm sure I'll enjoy it. :)
  14. Hi there, welcome to Coldplaying!!! :D I'm glad you decided to join our wonderful corner of the internet. :)

That's actually how they originally wanted to do Princess of China, but they changed it because they thought his was better for a female singer like Rihanna.
  18. This is ridiculous, they have been teasing us with soundchecks like this for months. :(
  19. That would explain why the only time they played Fly On since 2014 was the night following the Paris attacks, which was heavy on the whole world's hearts. It's a song that needs the right atmosphere to work live because of the emotions that come with it. I'm not saying I ever want something like that to happen again, I'm just saying that Fly On is a song that is best played to fit a certain mood.
  20. I didn't think of this until now... what if that's one reason why they never played Ghost Story live? Obviously it's a bonus track so it's not well-known, but it might also be incredibly hard for Chris to bring himself to sing lyrics like that. They carry so much emotional weight and if I were him, I wouldn't even want to remind myself of what it felt like when they were written.

I think this performance was much better: If they play it like this, I would probably enjoy it at a concert. I like the extended vocal samples in the intro, Jonny sounds really good and I actually don't mind seeing both Will and Guy on drum pads. The extra percussion gives the song a little more intensity. Just make sure Chris' voice is in better form because it still kind of suffers later on in the song.
