  1. I was browsing on a site called TheTopTens and found their rankings for the best Coldplay songs. I don't agree with a lot of it, especially this comment below Warning Sign (currently #21 on the list): :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:
  2. When she was just a girl, she expected the world
  3. They have played Til Kingdom Come a few times on the AHFOD tour so I could see them accepting a request for it. :) Hurts Like Heaven would actually work on the C-stage as well:
  4. I could live without them performing at the Oscars, but everything else would be awesome. Especially if the "relaxing" show is a nice acoustic show with stuff like this:
  5. Now that is a collaboration I would love to see. I get that they appreciate Beyonce, Rihanna, Tove Lo, etc. and I'm not going to hate on those choices of artists, but The Killers seem a lot more like an artist that the Coldplay of 10 years ago would have loved to collaborate with; I would be pleasantly surprised to see them do so soon! The possibility of the two bands joining forces for a song in the near future is certainly exciting!
  6. If the sky's gonna fall down, let it fall on me
  7. Sorry about your mum. :sad2: This is an amazing idea for a thread. Sometimes we all just need to let loose about whatever is going on in our lives, and we can all benefit from having friends to lean on when life gets rough. :)
  8. There was an interview with Chris and Jonny before the band went onstage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival last year, and the interviewer took advantage of their kindness by intentionally dropping things for them to politely pick up. Like, give me a break. He acted like they were his pets or something.
  9. Birds This is already hard!
  10. While I do prefer Coldplay's version, I enjoy this version, too! Thank you Coldplay for introducing me to the very underrated music of Embrace. :)
  11. Viva la Vida It's great to see that somebody has some love for that song! It doesn't get very much recognition.
  12. I hardly film anything when I'm at a concert. I take a few photos and random clips but never anything substantial. I suppose I was in a unique situation at Glastonbury where many shows were being broadcast anyway, so I almost completely avoided taking out my phone; if I want to find a video, I can probably track one down without much difficulty. My worst experiences with phones at a concert have been at big arena shows. These people were paying very good money and it broke my heart to see almost everybody watching through their phone's camera lens. There was even a very rude man behind me at a U2 concert who thought it would be fine to call a friend during a song. The guy was drunk and blabbering on loudly about stuff that was completely irrelevant to the show. Even the people glued to their phone cameras were annoyed by this idiot.
  13. This makes me really want to have been a fan in the old days of Parachutes and AROBTTH. I have never found a version of Spies as good as this one, and being on the Pyramid Stage just completes the atmosphere. Listen to that intro!!!!!!!! :dazzled:
  14. A Rush of Blood to the Head
  15. It looks like God Put A Smile Upon Your Face was the request! Then, Chris played a solo cover of Bruce Springsteen's Jersey Girl.
  16. Don't Panic Once again, "bones" appears in the lyrics. Sorry, @flockofbirds222
  17. (Politik) Look at earth from outer space Everyone must find a place Give me time and give me space Give me real, don't give me fake Give me strength, reserve control Give me heart and give me soul vs (Life In Technicolor ii) Time came a-creeping Oh and time's a loaded gun Every road is a ray of light It goes on, time'll leak and lead you on Still it's such beautiful night
  18. Today is my uncle's birthday, so my family and I spent some of the day in the park celebrating. I also got to talk to my future college roommate for the first time and he seems like a nice fellow. :)
  19. Amazing Day After most of my day was going fine, I just found out that a family friend passed away. With the events around the world and in my own life, I need a reminder to stay positive and Amazing Day is just that.
  20. it would be Paradise if this thread were going strong again; right now, it's as dead as A Ghost in the Cemeteries of London.
  21. The Coldplenergy is very strong today! Perhaps it's a sign from the Coldplay gods. :wink2: Have fun at the show this evening!!! :awesome:
  22. And here I lie, on my own in a separate sky
  23. On this day in 2000, Parachutes debuted at #1 on the UK albums chart!
