New site owner in July
I was away from the forums for awhile, but I would just like to say thank you Sparky for helping to make this the best Coldplay fansite on the internet. You are a big reason why this site is still alive and thriving! It was great having you around and I hope to see you around whenever you decide to say hello.

I have probably watched all of Coldplay's Glastonbury performances more times than I care to admit. I see Coldplay are already teasing for their next album. :laugh2:

[AUG 2016] Will Champion in Rhythm Magazine
It's always nice to see a one-on-one interview with someone besides Chris. I'm not saying this is really a bad thing, but Chris has a tendency to speak more for the whole group than just himself so it's cool to see somebody's individual perspective every so often.

This is interesting.
And I even distinctly remember the Oracle denying that Chris ever lip-syncs...

I have been a Pearl Jam fan for a few years, but I only just realized that they have songs called Speed of Sound and Parachutes.

Will there be a live CD/DVD fot the A Head Full Of Dreams Tour?
Zoe28 posted this in another thread. Warner Music Japan uploaded it yesterday: Google Translate does a poor job of translating the video's description (which is in Japanese), but the gist of it is that the Barcelona concerts were filmed for a special on a network called "Space Shower TV." Could this be the basis for a live DVD?

Random Coldplay thoughts...
I've been away from Coldplaying for awhile and sadly I am unable to attend the closest gig to where I live. However, I was surprised with a spectacular gift to celebrate my graduation from high school... drumroll please... :will::will::will::will::will::will: Now with that out of the way, I truly do feel bad for slipping away from the forum in the past several months. Nothing against this amazing community, I just took a bit of a hiatus as family issues began to pop up (everything has been resolved now, don't worry!) and the stress of finishing off high school began to creep into the picture. But I'm back, and more proud than ever to be a Coldplayer!

Best Song Live From AHFOD?
Up&Up. Though Birds, AHFOD, and Army of One are great live, too. It's a shame they gave up on the latter.

Life goes on, it gets so heavy Indeed! I'm a bit surprised that I was recognized, given all the new faces that have popped up since AHFOD was released!

Prince cover! Sometimes It Snows In April. Apparently it's a duet with Lianne La Havas.

[2015-12-03] BBC Radio 1 Special Show at St John’s Hackney Church, London
I even like HFTW better live. It's a little more pop rock and a little less hip hop. The other new songs are amazing live and the older additions to the set, especially Charlie Brown, were great. Chris was off during Fix You but the rest of the set was simply awesome. The visuals were all breathtaking, I can only imagine those filling an entire stadium...

Hymn for the Weekend
I think I enjoy the live version just a little more. The lyrics are still crap but the instrumentals have a little more of a pop rock vibe. There are some real drums in the chorus and the guitar is more prominent.

A Head Full Of Dreams (Title track)
Hmm, I actually hear more of Things I Don't Understand in Birds, but now that I think of it I see what you mean. :p

Up&Up
Live, Up&Up is all-time classic Coldplay for me. The studio version is great but the production holds it back from its full potential. :(
