Their pop isn't trite and rock doesn't really have anything to offer SO FAR. That's why you hear rock records nowadays either veering towards pop or making stuff that sounds like wanna be's. But I think in the next 5-10 years rock will resurge and become greater than it has ever been before. Now it's just in a lull.

LP8 should come out in like 2018

Onerepublic and bastille are straight pop, maybe MAYBE pop rock. I don't think rock is dead but it's definetly not doing so well now. Most rock songs are just wanna be's of the old days tunes. People need to reinvent rock not reintroduce old rock.

I don't think they'll continue woth pop (hopefully) but there will be no AROBTTH 2.0

I love X&Y - Mylo/HLH + Jonny's guitar solos are great and on par with the Up&Up solos. Great bass coming through without washing the sound it supports the song very well. -I don't know...they couldve taken out the sequencers in the background and made it a tad more powerful oh and the lyrics aren't the best Low

Metacritic is somewhat accurate but AHFOD is no 57/100. That's an F. It's not that bad. Yeah it's no 90/100 but it's a strong 75 at least.
