hey im Alicia from New Jersey n im new...(wow this kinda sounds like a therapy thing)...n i have a problem...i LOVE coldplay. I cannot wait until August 7th so I can finally see them live! Well thats all i have to say. PS- this is a great site

I always hate doing these cause i always sound a right :square: ! Me names pete and i've been an [obbsessive - (what my friends say anyway)] coldplay fan since hearing 'don't panic' on the bus home from school so many years back i can't actually rember when (i was in year 10)! Been a CP fan from the beginning really, the only band who's albums I can play over and over and never get fed up with them! Saw them live in April 2003 at Earl's Court, and was extremely lucky to win tickets to see them at the 'secret' Round Chapel MTV gig in April where I had the most utterly amazing night - can't wait to see it on MTV 2moro nite! Hello. I've been a HUGE Coldplay fan ever since my sister introduced me to them about 3 years ago. They are without a doubt my favorite band and I'm soooo excited for X&Y!!! Looks like an awesome site!! Also, a little side question... This is probably asked to death but for the presale tickets, are they not as good as the ones for general sale? I'm really excited to go to the Minneapolis show but am wondering if the I should wait for the general sale to get better seats (the ones I've been offered aren't that great). Thanks!!

my name is Tim, i love Coldplay very much. I got hooked on those Brits when i saw "The Scientist" video on iTunes, and borrowed my friends copy of AROBTTH. INSTANTLY hooked, bought the album, and here I am. (The song is currently my 2nd favorite song of all time) I enjoy playing my acoustic guitar and piano, I can play "Politik", "the scientist", "clocks" on piano and "Yellow, "Don't Panic" on guitar. Every song has life and appeals to me on many different levels. I just bought tickets to see them in ATL. and I am so stoked! Other than Coldplay I prefer listening to Radiohead, Nina Simone (my favorite of all time), John Coltrane, Smiths, Wu-Tang Clan, Led Zeppelin, DJ Shadow, Interpol, Jeff Buckley, Sigur Ros, Mars Volta, Björk, Bloc Party, Johnny Cash and much more. I also love films like the Godfather, Star Wars, For a Few Dollars More, Le Grand Bleu, Pathfinder, Lost In Translation, Bottle Rocket (all W. Anderson films) and my favorite of all time, the Gods Must Be Crazy.
