I think we got VERY lucky in Central Canada today.

Why has dying got to be such a painful process? Why can't people just disappear into thin air? Why must both the dying and the living ones be dragged through such torture? *sigh*

Life is such a roller coaster! Sometimes it´s thrilling, sometimes it´s terrifying, but truly never dull...

That awkward moment when you're having a conversation on a thread and all the sudden everyone stops replying...

I am eating and watching TV2 News at the same time - pictures of the US east coast after hurricane SANDY.

 

Some of these pictures with a boat in the street and a flooded promenade at the seaside etc. - surrealistic and tragic.

^Sandy just missed m part of Canada...we had some strong winds and nothing more. I have friends who complained that the storm wasn't scary enough for them! I told them to move to New Jersey since those poor people are probably scared of losing everything. It's remarkable how selfish some people are.

 

And that's what I was thinking even before I read Nancy's post. That and I love the new Dr. Who quotes in Louise' siggy.:)
