Embrace have covered Coldplay's Gravity. just saw it on mtv2. is this old news? why wasnt i told.

It's actually not a cover version, I think ... Chris wrote it for Embrace. maybe as a test he played it live several times during the last tour.

I really really love the Embrace Version... I listen to it at the moment. Mmmh... that's my thing :D

Well he didn't write it for Embrace as such.

 

He wrote it as a possible Coldplay song but decided it sounded much more like an Embrace song so played it to Danny.

 

After Coldplay decided they wouldn't use it Chris offered it to Danny and after speaking to the rest of the band they agreed as they thought it was beautiful.

I think Embrace does the song pretty well, but theres something about Chris's voice that makes it sound better. :)
