I personally think it should be left, I'm not keen on the idea.

 

Out of curiosity, why?

I think it'll be cool to see more of the wizarding world, especially from a different character's perspective, and from a different time period all together. We won't be stuck in Hogwarts for most of the movie like before, and the main character will (I guess) be older and more mature than Harry so the movie itself could also be more mature, which would be cool for all the fans that have grown up with the franchise.

I have read the books from The Sorcerer's Stone up to the Half Blood Prince three times each. Also watched them all but I still haven't watched or read The Deathly Hallows. I have a copy of the movie but I want to read it first.
