you know..i think they should start doing "will champion drum solo" during the concerts...that would rock...and then guy would walk up and start playing a wickedly awesome bass riff to what Will is playing....then go right into something like white shadows...that would be bril

The drumming on this album I have noticed is mostly in faster time. He loves the 16th notes on the hat now (Sqaure one and Talk).

 

He's still pulling his most common and most Will like beats that take me back to In My Place and Warning Sign. I'm talking about the 8th note ostinatos with snare on back beat and 8th and 16th bass between snare hits.

 

Btw, yes, I play drums. I have my kit setup just like Will's but I have one extra rack tom, so I have to move my ride cymbol out the side a bit.

I would never have guessed that youre a drummer :P lol I always wanted to play drums, but my mother wouldnt let me as I was growing up so I never learned :( maybe i will learn someday

It's never to late to start. I air drummed for a year to Coldplay before I got my kit. It was Will and specifically In My Place that got me into it. :cool:

cool, I plan on learning to play someday, i just hope i am at least decent at it. hehe

Practice Practice Practice! As those annoying cliches go. It's a lot of fun and a great workout. Especially if you start playing a lot of Muse to! GO DOM YOU ROCK AS MUCH AS WILL! (but only just lol ;) )

I always figured it would be a good workout. hehe I will be rockin as much as Will! I hope. :D

Yeah, I was thinking about taking some video me playing through lots of Coldplay songs. If I do, i'll no doubt post a link here somewhere. :P
