He's an absolutely terrible writer and I shudder to think that people will look back on his work to define this generation :/

I don't think that he is the best writer in the world or something like that, but he isn't bad...But you know, this's only my opinion.

I'm still reading the same book as I was this morning when I posted in this thread. :o

 

For some reason I've been getting into books about mathematician's lives. :P

I finished Nick Laird. Expected something different as his interviews are usually full of metaphors, quotes, similies, ... but I enjoyed it. :)

 

At the moment I am skipping through a few short stories about the sea; but will probably start reading "The Autograph Man" by Zadie Smith.

yeah, i think he actually went to "tour" around SEA last year. cos my friend was also telling me about him (my friend's a fan).

 

i know him more cos of the movie Stardust, i.e. he's the one who wrote the book the movie was based on, & cos he's written a book with Terry Pratchett (one of my fave authors).
