I think the use of words e.g. nigga should not be used. !!

I don't care in what context they are used, whether its been used as a greeting or not, the general undertone the word gives is not good, I have been pretty bemused by its recent use on here recently.

I don't expect that many people to understand on here where I am coming from.

Due to the reception of my original objection to its use.

 

However if you did you just might understand why some people like myself may get very put off by its use.

 

I possibly might get baned or told to get a life as a consqunce of this posting. But I want everyone to know how I feel !

I think it's fair comment

 

People should try to avoid offensive language where possible

 

Even if it's done as a joke then in repetition it becomes offensive, so please find other ways of expression

it's an offensive word especially when one see's the origins of the word and how it was used in the past..

The word nigga was used as a reference term to 'slaves'. As Simon has said on here repeitive use does cause offence, however it still seems the word is galdly entartained on here by some.

 

Belive me I am so very upset, I will admit this may be seen as a rather emotinal response however if you were onced attacked and seen your family and peoples victimised by racist idoits that used this word you may understand how one feels

 

Furthermoor Why?? Has it hurt me so much. This message board means a great deal to me.

I have made frineds some very good ones, whearas we help each other though the greater part of the day.I am shocked for a place that has built its ethics on the band called coldplay has reduced it self to such a low ethos. I dont think Chris Martin would be impressed.

 

However it does seem some people, not my frineds I must say, are very intent on using it on a repeated basis, and I am thinking now to cause me offence. I try my best on here to stay away from issues such as Race, Politics, Relgion anything that will possibly offend people, yes some of my postings have been suggestive however the people who a party to the action.

I can clearly see you used this word as a standard part of your comucincation however it has casued repitive use of this word which has caused me personal offence ! and I know by you there is no racial intent whatsover to cause me offence, but come on you have seen the consquence the use of your word has caused stop using it please. !
