Where is Sara? :-o

She went to ALL of these shows:

March 2: Pittsburgh (Palumbo Theatre)

March 3: Michigan (Detroit Fox Theatre)

March 4: Indianapolis (Muret Theatre)

And she's going to a fourth but I'm not sure if it's any of these:

March 7: Nashville, Tennessee (Nashville Ryman Auditorium)

March 9: Columbus, Ohio (Columbus Pavilion)

March 10: Louisville, Kentuck. (Louisville Palace Theatre)

What?! To see coldplay?????? I'm SOOOO EXTREMELY jalous if she is!

Awww, Sarah, it was sweet of ya to make this thread *hugs* :)

I've reached a computer finally, sooner than I had thought. hehe. :D Erm...where do I start? I met the band!! lol, well everyone except Guy because they all said he was passed out, lol  But that's okay. :)

The band was so nice and was happy to sign stuff...and the concerts were great! more info to come. sorry, i'm sort of half-asleep at the moment. lol. maybe that's a sign for me to go to bed. :D

i want stories now!!

hehe, okay :) well, here's part one...the Detroit gig...hope you don't mind my rambling... :)

My friends and I left early to go to the venue to try to the meet the band. We waited near the tour buses which were behind a gate. There were only a few of us waiting outside. Later on, we ran into a lady who was with the band and we asked her if they would be coming out at all. She said they were in the middle of a soundcheck and stuff and probably wouldn't be out at all. But she offered to take our stuff inside to get signed, which was very nice of her. :) We all thanked the lady about a billion times. Then, we all got ready to go to the show.

We were right up front....I had never been that close at a concert before. And there was no barrier in front of the stage, just security guards standing off to the side. And the Fox Theatre looked beautiful. Our seats were all the way on the side, where Guy would be standing.

The Music came out at 7:30 and performed for about 45 minutes and they were really good. Everyone in the first two rows were trying to get up closer, but the security guards were pissy about it. But when Coldplay came out(I think it was around 8:45...??), no one cared and we all ran up to the front! The security guards tried to push us back, but after a while, they realized it was useless. Coldplay played until about 10:15...I'm not sure of the exact time because I didn't check my watch when I left.

The concert was amazing, I had so much fun and really enjoyed all the songs, especially one of my favorite live songs, One I Love. I was jumping around like an idiot during that one! ;) The band was really energetic, but I was sort of disappointed with the crowd. The whole balcony was sitting most of the time and Chris pointed out to the only guy standing during Yellow! I didn't really let it bother me though, because I was pretty much oblivious to the crowd during the whole concert. The band did two encores and the second one was just Chris and his guitar playing a new song called Proof.

The band also played Poor Me...another good song and Chris did a short version of Songbird.

After the second encore, my friend Molly jumped on stage!! Security treated her like she was a freakin' criminal...you rock, molly!! :D

After the concert, we waited outside in the freezing cold. It had already snowed an inch. After waiting for a little while, some of the band members of The Music came out and talked to us. Only a few of them came out of the gate. One of the band members, Adam, came out and talked to us and he was very nice. I got a picture of him with my friends. There were still about 20 people waiting outside after The Music left.

We waited a bit more and then Chris came outside with a security guard and brought us doughnuts! He apologized for making us wait out in the cold and happily signed stuff for everyone. He joked that everyone should go to bed 'cause I think it was around 1am when he came outside. Someone asked if he could sign a doughnut for them, and he replied 'no man, that'd be toxic'...lol. Chris was very nice and talked to everyone for a bit and then left. Later on, Guy came out but just went right on the bus. Then Will came out and he waved and went on the bus as well. Jonny came out last and then went on the bus, but came back. He was very nice and signed stuff for everyone and took pictures. He stayed behind the gate though because I heard security wouldn't let the band come out. Will then came out and he was nice too. He also signed stuff for everyone. We asked them if Guy was going to come out, but they said he was passed out. lol. But that's okay, I was spoiled enough by the band! :) And I got some more stuff signed.

So that's my story...not very short...so if you read it all, thank you! :) I'll have pics soon for those who want to see! :)

That is so wicked! Thanks for sharing and I can't wait for the rest of your Coldplay story when you get back. Have fun! :D

But very lucky garl you are indeed, can't believe how nice they are... and the part about Guy being passed out LOL, if he plays that way when he's drunk, imagine him at sober! Amazing... And your Molly friend, wow, she's a brave girl :D
