December 8, 200619 yr October...it's hidden but it's a well known song and it also gives the title to their second album :nice: It's simple and beautiful:shy: October and the trees are stripped bare of all they wear what do I care? October and kingdoms rise and kingdoms fall but you go on and on
December 8, 200619 yr I was just so happy to see them, and in all the pics you know the whole band is happy, smiling Like Adam was. . enjoying themselves, Edges family are all healthy, and they are just playing kick arse shows, with a lot of emotion and honesty. . . What more can I ask?
December 9, 200619 yr Yeah they were just talking about the upcoming gig on the radio. My radio station sent two people over there. But I was thinking even if I won, I probably couldn't go since I am writing exams. But I think I would shoot myself to get a doctors note or something. I'd find a way to go...
December 9, 200619 yr Loretin . . Hey are Coldplay actually touring next Febuary, or is your signature a p*ss take?
December 9, 200619 yr It's totally unrelated but..I love your sig..that banana is hilarious :laugh3: :laugh3: thanx
December 9, 200619 yr of course Andrew! they announced more gigs in latin america and its true Well there you go. . . . I must get out more! so obsessed by U2 these days!
December 9, 200619 yr A nice obsession  ...but I think this is due to them being still around doing gigs (even if tomorrow's gonna be the last one :bigcry: :bigcry:) while Coldplay have been out of the scene since July And I've just discovered that Coldplay's supposed-to-become-a-DVD director is Hamish Hamilton..I didn't know it or simply I didn't link the name...I mut say he did a far better job with Coldplay...I don't like his direction in the Chicago DVD and part of the Milan one too...I like his Slane DVD direction 10.000 times more @Lore: no Honolulu but you'll get to see Coldplay   :nice:

December 9, 200619 yr I want to be in honolulu too:bigcry: I'll sign that "Wish I were In Honolulu Right Now" list!! :bigcry: Daaaaamn.
December 9, 200619 yr I liked Hammish's job on the Milan concert. But not so much on the Chicago. Where were the fans in Chicago?
December 9, 200619 yr They should have filmed Boston. We always represent :smug: :( My mom and I listened to all of U218 on the way up to see We Are Scientists this past Thursday (which was a year since I last saw U2, ironically). Must say, I really enjoy the choices (obviously, they're all classics) and I love the way they were arranged. They flow nicely, although for myself I would never see the point in buying it since I could just make a mix cd (with a few other favorites on there for good measure ;) ). But my mom got it for her car, so yeah. It was a nice drive, to say the least.
December 9, 200619 yr I want to be in honolulu too:bigcry: I'll sign that "Wish I were In Honolulu Right Now" list!! :bigcry: Daaaaamn. *hugs both* LOL one of my friends in Honolulu texted me saying he was waiting for the who-knows-when-it's-coming bus to get to the stadium, where the queue seemed to be around 600 people... oh my...I hope he will be able to call me, I need to listen to one song live on the phone :dead:
December 9, 200619 yr That's what U2.com was reporting...I know someone saying there were less people, but this was almost 12 hours ago, so I think now 600 can be close to the real number
December 10, 200619 yr They should have filmed Boston. But my mom got it for her car, so yeah. It was a nice drive, to say the least. The thing that drives me nuts on the cd is how it has a shortened version of Stuck In A Moment. It just bugs me how they cut some of my favourite part out. I love listening to U2 with parental units. What are your mom's favourite U2 songs? My Dad likes : I Still Havne't Found What I'm Looking For, In A Little While, Miss Sarajevo, All I Want Is You, and One the best.
December 10, 200619 yr It was shortened? Oh man, I didn't even notice, guess I wasn't listening that hard ('twas so excited for the gig I was going to! haha). I'll have to give it another listen ;) My mom and I were talking about it, she absolutely loves One, With or Without You and Walk On. Says it's just the togetherness of the band and how they build up. Totally agree with that! haha, I've made her into such a U2 dork! :laugh4: My mom really loves everything by them, like me... but unlike me, she's less fond of the ZooTV era (which is my favorite). More of a 'Pride' than a 'Fly' person :laugh4: ;)
