I was talking with a Universal Rep (they distribute U2 in NZ) and they said that there was supposed to be a DVD set of their older shows (Red Rocks, Zoo TV OZ & Popmart Mexico) coming before Christmas, but that was last year. . . I have given up on waiting. . . I just want them to come back here and finish the shows in my signature.

 

BTW - 26 days till I see COLPLAY!!

:( Wow, a DVD set would be AMAZING, since I've only seen portions of Red Rocks (shit quality, at that!) and don't want to invest in buying the DVDs off ebay. *sigh* Things move slowly in the U2 camp.

You so need to get Live under a Blood red sky! - have you got any bootleg DVD's?? I love the San Francisco May 1981 is such a laugh then they have about an hour of out takes from filming the I Will Follow video, this one camera, it is so funny!. . . well I suppose nothing compares to the video of Street Missions!. . that is . . well wrong really. . Larry Mullen would have been all of 16 years old!

I haven't seen the '81 concert. I've seen clips on youtube, though, and around the internet places. Amazing what you can find hanging around here. I really want some very early stuff on DVD though. Too bad they're so frickin' expensive!! Guess ebay is my only real option.

I hate ebay scum. Jerks. I only buy things from people who seem like fans, or if it's really rare stuff that I've never seen (like I got an AWESOME Achtung Baby tour shirt, and some ancient pins from like '81 for 15 bucks from some cool person once). Overall, though, they're over priced, too expensive with shipping, and usually not region free.
