I've had about 4 fights defending U2 today, but I think it's useless.

I will say this just once more, until you have REALLY LISTENED to every SINGLE ALBUM, seen them in concert and MET THEM, then I will listen and take your opinion to heart. Until then, to me, you just don't know what you're talking about ;)

an_cat' date=' I can't handle these Bono haters....I'm going to cry (what is your name again?)[/quote']

Isn't it unbelievable? People pass judgement on the man, but have never even met him in person. That's what you get for reading magazines and taking their opinions seriously and making them your own, it's really quite brainless.

And it's Danielle:)

stupid U2 haters...

<<<<<< 110% Bono luver!!!

Don't go into the REM vs. U2 thread. It's just sad.

Ok that's fair a comment. It's good that your defending a band you like but i will never like them as much as you so my mind won't change either. But as for the "you don't know what your taking about" part, that's your opinion just as my opinion is you don't know what your talking about so i'm happy to leave things like this aswell because neither of us will change each others mind.

lmfao, you're right it is my opinion. It's how I look at the world, and how I respond to people who put down things that are important to me in my life. I get prickly when people insult U2, because they have shaped me into who I am as a person, they have made me better. I feel like when people call them crap, I feel like crap. I can't help that.

It just makes me damn sad. :\

:) oh well i don't want to make you sad, so for the purpose of this conversation we'll pretend i never said nothing bad about U2, lol. Aslong as you and i both know how i really feel about them and how you really feel about them, i'll take it back.

You don't have to take anything back, I don't deny people the right to share their opinions! But I reserve the right to defend my opposing one ;) Don't worry about it at all, I'm actually glad for it. It made me put them back on....... :uhoh: LOL!!!

I'm from the US, Rhode Island to be exact.

I love love love Radiohead (your avi is brilliant, by the way). I like my classic rock (Beatles, Dylan, Rolling Stones, Hendrix, The Who, The Doors, solo Lennon, Bruce Springsteen even though he's not REALLY classic rock), but I like "new" stuff too. Coldplay, Oasis, REM, Radiohead!, etc.

And then I like movie soundtracks... but that's the really dorky side of me... :\ LOL!

Seriously out of all the bands u just mentioned apart from The Rolling Stones, The Who and U2, but we won't mention them, lol. They are all great bands. I love movie soundtracks and movie scores aswell, especially david cronenberg films. Have you seen radiohead live before?

(I actually don't listen to The Who that much anymore, and I think the Stones sold out after I saw them live... so that's ok LOL)

I haven't seen RH live yet, but I was planning to see them at the Boston Pavilion this June. Went on to get tickets and was blocked out by all the scalpers. There's 10 pages of scalped tickets 300 bucks+ on ebay now. Unbelievable, huh???

I'm trying to find extra tickets that fans might be selling for face value, or up to 80 bucks per ticket. Anything higher than that is ridiculous.

(HERE THAT PEOPLE, IF YOU HAVE RADIOHEAD TICKETS GIVE ME THEM. :( )

Yeah that's what happened to me. Radiohead and Morrissey r headlining the v-festival and the tickets sold out in 5 minutes. When i went on e-bay people had bought them just to sell for 300 pounds and more and there's no way i'm paying them prices, no matter how much i love radiohead and morrissey. I'm just going to wait until they play Newcastle near where i live because i'll be able to get tickets for that definitely but i'm not sure when they are playing there yet. I've seen them live before once and they are the best band i've ever seen live, i hope u get to see them play live someday.

I've heard that they're absolutely amazing, that's why I was so unbelievably dissapointed when I couldn't get tickets. How unfair... If I had all the money in the world I still wouldn't give it to the scalpers, though. What jerks.

Yeah your right, i don't think i would give them my money either. What annoys me the most is they won't even be radiohead fans, they just buy the tickets out of greed because they want the money. There's no point in it they should just leave them for the real fans to buy.......Right i'm off now because it's late over here in england and i'm really tired and need to get some sleep.....bye :)

They are scummy people, that's for sure. The tickets to the Boston show I was trying for were going for 41 dollars, that's face value. They're now selling them 200 bucks PER TICKET! That's like.... a 500% increase. Disgusting.

Night, nice talking to you! :)

ACHTUNG! ZOO TV DVD IN OCTOBER

May 11, 2006

posted by: m2

Our friends at U2achtung.com are reporting confirmation from Universal Music France today that a Zoo TV Tour DVD will be released this October in two versions: standard and limited edition with bonus features. It's safe to assume this will be the Sydney concert, but Universal didn't confirm that.

:censored: so when is it going to be released the DVD from Milan? next year? :bigcry:

And about One sung with Mary J Blige...I really just hope people won't link this song to her alone...it's at number 2 in the single chart here and I'm sure it's not U2 fans who are buying it...One is U2's

I'll believe the news about the DVD when I see it.

OH MY GOD. FINALLY. THE ZOO TV DVD.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS! No more paying mad money for bootlegs of the shows!!!! Awesome!

POPMART NEXT ON DVD! Then some Lovetown Shows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want a POPmart DVD much more than ZOOtv. I go through these stages where I am super obsessed with Popmart and the pop album. That Pop Muzik Mofo opening is simply amazing. Especially the audio from MExico....drool drool

Heh, I have the Santiago concert on DVD. Amazing stuff, definately.

I've still got a crazy fetish with ZooTV.... :uhoh:
