Anyone else here agree U2 is a fantastic band!!!:) Bono is a legend - he writes fantastic songs, and has a great voice. U2 have great versatility which they continue to show and prove over and over again over the past 25 years and today. Is it possible for people to both love Coldplay and U2...I think they can! So what are you opinions people?

William Hung is better than U2.

Apparently an announcement is coming very soon for new dates!! But then again, that has been said for the past 4 months lol...oh well only a matter of time

Bump.

And shame on the rest of you.

woops, sorry:nice:

And what happened to all the pics of concert shirts that you were going to post huh?:D

thanks Native son:kiss: :D

It's fantastic!! I want to be that girl :bigcry: :P

Oh my god. I went to Nude today, the cafe that Bono's brother Norman owns, in Dublin. :stunned: It was sooooooooooooooooooooooo so so nice!! I got a strawberry smoothie and it was really healthy. Wonderful little place, and U2 was being blasted over the "radio" thing.

Something I noticed today while walking around Dublin: The main graffiti (other than shamrocks and "IRISH PRIDE") written on the walls here is "ONE LOVE". I think that's really awesome.

I went on one of those city tour bus things and the driver called Bono an arse... :bigcry: And I went by the Clarence. Quite posh, I was too scared to go in. The bellhop looked pretty intimidating. Maybe one of the guys were in there...

I love Dublin and U2! :D

Yay danielle, thats awesome!!:D It's so cool that you celebreated your b-day in Ireland! Keep your eyes open, maybe you get to see one of the guys before you leave! :D

An_Cat - Ah nice one! it reminds me of the time (Back before you were born probably) when a couple of us mad U2 fans from New Zealand did the Whole U2 thing, (If I could find my old travel Diary I could tell you how to get to some of these places) Windmall Lane Studio, Hot Press Offices, Clarence, POint Depot, a couple of those old Pubs where the lads used to play or go drinking after recording sessions, Mount Temple School, and Trinity College. . Of course the obligatory photo outside the Bonanox hearing aid shop (as you do) Kilmanhaim Jail (A celebration Video) we took the DART south, went to Killiney where Bono's House is, hung outside there till security asked us to move on, [Also Edge lived near there, as did on of the guys from Crowded House. . . .] and went on to Bray - I hope you got to go there, we walked around listening to the Lyrics of "Promenade" it all made sense. . seaside, football coca cola radio radio radio the old house Bono and Ali used to live in (the converted Tower or light house. . .). . . Did Slaine Castle up North and the Moher Cliffs on the coast where I remember a lot of Unforgettable fire Promo shots taken, also found Moydrum Castle (or the ruins) which is the Unforgettable Fire cover. . . . oh man! the memories. . . .back in the 90's! very jealous of you!!!! well done though. . .

That is awesome!!! One day I would love to tour U2 singnificant places in Ireland, soooo lucky!!!
