April 4, 200521 yr Author thanks for the hellos ! and am pleased you like the site. hope you can find time to check out the mp3s on it sometime. they are old and we've had another year since then of playing together and hope to get some more recorded very soon, but we're still quite happy with the ones on the site. we just know we can do better :) anyway, we didn't write the songs, just recorded them and play 'em. we have coldplay to thank ultimately and always. long live coldplay.

April 5, 200521 yr Author thanks for your positive comments ! much appreciated. we'd only been together a couple of months when we recorded yellow and the guitarist didn't quite have the riff right yet we let it slide and we got it sorted out the next week !! daft thing to do really - we shoulda made sure we got it sorted for the recording ! cheers once again !

April 6, 200521 yr Author hi laura ! glad you like the name coldplace. the place is coz of in my place (as you've probably guessed). plus it works on another level coz we're from grimsby (UK east coast) and it gets well cold here most of the time. plus, it's a fishing town (we have the best fish and chips in the world btw) so we toyed with the idea of putting an i in it and getting coldplaice. we even suggested taking the first l out and ended up with codplaice - but that was just for a larf, we were never gonna call ourselves codplaice really

April 7, 200521 yr Author if you ever find yourself in this part of england by some misfortune then make sure you come and get some fish and chips from grimsby/cleethorpes (two towns in one really). They are most definitely the best in the world. I know coz I've never tasted any as good outside this town. We just know what we are doing. There's not a lot else to shout about round this area. We used to have to longest single span suspension bridge in the world for a while (the humber bridge) but at the end of the the day a bridge is a bridge.
