April 15, 200521 yr Ok im really proud of my discovery here, I know its not much but it may lead to more. In the "road" on both the single and album covers there are red lines..........think of it like hangman, on the album one there are enough spaces for X & Y. 3 red lines. On the single cover there are spaces for speed of sound........12 spaces in all. So the dotted line represents the album and single titles..........now all i have to figure out is how the blocks fit in! OMG i got it! Look at Speed of sound........in each column below and above where the letter would be......both 's' letters have the same formation of blocks. Both 'o' have the same formation of blocks. So each letter is represented by a letter from an alphabet of coloured squares. For example, every S is black grey red orange (order of blocks from top to bottom)
April 15, 200521 yr Oh yeah :idea2: By the way check out the roasting I got from Dr. Pepper in the 'Album Section'
April 15, 200521 yr well spotted that man !! that should go a long way to figuring it out !! the blocks are i columns - one for each letter - notice the same arrangement of blocks for similair letters. just gonna work out if it's 8-bit ascii .......
April 15, 200521 yr well, it's not 8-bit ascii coz there's ten rows so it's ten bit. so it's some other code - maybe machine specific to the punch-card they based it on.
April 15, 200521 yr But where did you find the speed of sound cover? I've seen only the red one... genius!!!!! :stunned: :stunned:
April 15, 200521 yr Author it came in the email news from the official site........so do you guys agree that i have done it or what? i need feedback
April 15, 200521 yr Oh it's also in my e-mail!!! thanks I agree. Of course! That's the right explanation. genius :stunned:
April 15, 200521 yr Author i wonder if coldplay will hear about my discovery! i feel on top of the world right now!
April 15, 200521 yr I'm so envious right now... genius! If only I'd checked my mail this afternoon!!!!!! genius :stunned: :stunned:
April 15, 200521 yr well done!!! thats def right...it must be. i wonder if cracking that code makes anymore sense of the album cover? can it be applied there somehow too?
April 15, 200521 yr Author ya the first red line is for X and the blocks in its column are the blocks for the letter x .........then the middle is & and then the last line is Y, and the blocks in its column make up the letter y!
April 15, 200521 yr I added the cover your post owen, so it would be easier to see what you're talking about... ;)
April 15, 200521 yr For example, every S is black grey red orange (order of blocks from top to bottom) if this is true... how do you explain the 'f' it has the same formation??? (black gery red orange) top to bottom.
April 15, 200521 yr Author exactly, below in the f there is two blocks of orange/yellow........so that makes that letter distinct.
April 15, 200521 yr Author if only speed of sound contained an x or a y, we could match it to the album cover......but the red lines make it connect, its perfect sense
April 15, 200521 yr I think you could ask something from Coldplay now.... YOU HAVE CRACKED THE CODE!!!!!!
April 15, 200521 yr Author ya well i emailed debs my post, so we will see.........im waiting anxiously, i feel like charlie brown when he got his golden ticket!
April 15, 200521 yr hmm just like the old computer scan sheets... I see what you mean... just so everyome knows.. I'll try to post the image on every page so we could all try to see what the hell we're talking about lol ;)
