April 15, 200521 yr wow, you're theory is completely right!! i swear if you write a special word in this language, you get a beautiful picture that makes sense... maybe "coldplay" ?? :stunned:
April 15, 200521 yr yes that is what i've heard actually and that it's a language that's international and that right before the album release they are going to distribute a "key" to the code that allows you to read it like in flyers or some form not too sure i remember reading about it somewhere but was really curious and seems like they were right on the money so far. although that seems a little far-fetched the idea of sending out mass amounts of decoders to decipher the coldplay album in the beginning of june but i dunno :/
April 15, 200521 yr the middle two columns must be the amphersand then. the real challenge now is to crack the code so we can write the entire alphabet in it and therefore see what the words "coldplay" will look like when written in the code and predict future singles covers :) so far we've got : d e f n o p s u x y i'm not convinced that the colours are part of the code, more the position of the blocks within each column - the colours are probably just to make it look pretty. I'm sure i saw somewhere the other day a reference to the computer that inspired the artwork - anyone remember ?
April 15, 200521 yr Author so it truly is an international language! thats why it works in all countries!
April 15, 200521 yr hm i don't know but i would think the colors mattered since they kept with the same pattern at least. man i wish i had like spy training or something, any kind of profession where code breaking was taught to you as a requirement
April 15, 200521 yr the colours may have something to do with the code but i reckon the positioning of the blocks is the first thing to work on. particularly considering the references to punch cards where the position of the holes were what mattered and nothing else. Here's a rearrangement of the letters we have so far :-
April 15, 200521 yr So the "&" in X&Y are two columns? must be. otherwise it all fucks up :) besides, & is not in the alphabet so let's assume special characters take two columns :)
April 15, 200521 yr Wonder why for example the S looks like it does. Is it just a coinsidence, or is that also a code?

Here's a rearrangement of the letters we have so far :- good work no prob. if someone could find some info out about what was officially said about the punch card (hopefully a name of a computer or operating system or something) then i'll have a go at cracking it when i come back l8a.
April 15, 200521 yr How come the last letters in Speed and Sound don't match(referring to the block design for D)
April 15, 200521 yr How come the last letters in Speed and Sound don't match(referring to the block design for D) i think they do match...
April 15, 200521 yr Author ya this is huge, it just came to me when i was listening to Daylight, and looking at the email about the coldplayer! which is also mega!
April 15, 200521 yr Oh wow absolute brilliance! Great work Owen! :) never would have though to look at it the way you did.
April 15, 200521 yr but we still can't wait for the actual song to come out  ooo oo edit: i just heard the cingular preview. good work, guys. good work guys.
April 15, 200521 yr Author everyone on the official board agrees with me to, although my thread isnt popular over there no one seems to care.......someone said coldplay would give me a prize
April 15, 200521 yr well, you definately have the start of the "decoding" process started, but I think it's too early to claim anything... just because the "secret" or whatever hasn't been revealed. You just started the key, ya know? Props to you though, NICE!
April 15, 200521 yr Author ok then if i havent done it tell me what else there is to reveal........since we know the blocks represent letters in the alphabet, what else is there left to know.......whatever puzzle they present us we know how to solve it.....and we can predict future single covers........for example other than the I, you can easily see what FiX YOU is going to look like if its ever a single!
