The new cd is supposed to be NOTHING like they have ever released. I hope that's a good thing.....

 

When did you get into OLP?

I've been a big olp fan for about 3 years I guess. Clumsy was the first cd that I bought. What about you?

The first cd I bought was spiritual machine, but I knew OLP since I saw the video for One Man Army

I had heard about them a long time ago, but back then I was into the Backstreet Boys and stuff, so I didn't really pay much attention lol.

oh man..... I used to like all that music too, but that's because I was in grade four. I started liking good music when I got into Matthew Good band.

I'm kind of a recent Matt Good fan (like within the past year) but I got sucked in REALLY fast lol.

oh yea? I don't really like his new cd. he was better when he was part of the Matthew Good Band.

His solo stuff is alot different, but I still think it's amazing. Did you hear 21st Century Living off Avalanche?

yea, it's good. I like the last song, House Of Smoke And Mirrors, best off the cd Avalanche.

 

Do you Matthew Good band?

Yeah for sure...my favorite cd's from them were The Audio of Being and Last of the Ghetto Astronauts, but they were all awesome.

THE AUDIO OF BEING was great, but it was just too damn depressing.

 

My favorite off that cd for sure is MAN OF ACTION, and Advertising On Police Cars is also great.

I take back what I just said lol...I could never choose a favorite cd. I was just thinking about all the good songs on Beautiful Midnight and Underdogs :D

Beautiful Miding was alright. My favorites are Underdogs and The Audio Of Being.

 

Last Of The Ghetto Astronauts has some classic songs though. The War Is Over is the best song from that cd.

Yeah, I totally agree. Symbolistic White Walls and Native Son were my other favorites. I wish Geoff Lloyd never left the band! :sad:

I know I know. My favorite song off Underdogs by far is Invasion 1.

That's a good one. Do you know if the man on the front of that cd is Matt Good? I've been trying to figure that out forever lol.

Yep, I agree. The only thing that bugged me about it was that it didn't have lyrics inside. I can't stand that. If I ever become a singer (which I seriously doubt lol) I'll print all my lyrics inside every cd! :D

I hope Matt Good releases another solo cd. There's talk of him joining a band from Toronto.
