May 26, 200521 yr Well, as you can see from the dates that Rilo is set to play above, they won't be the opening act for the entire North American tour. I heard Rilo on the Edge 102.1 last week, and Bookie mentioned that he was disappointed that they wouldn't be doing Toronto's show, or others in the states. As far as I know, there haven't been any decisions for who will open the other dates of the tour ... anyone heard? think it'll really be Franz?
May 26, 200521 yr Yah, I reported earlier this month that Rilo Kiley would be the opener. :P I don't know what happened to the other dates though, they were originally slated for all the dates.
May 26, 200521 yr the first leg won't be opened by Franz Ferdinand for sure, cause they play european festivals in august
May 27, 200521 yr it wont be embrace they already have some shows in august........but id love to see athlete again, they are amazing and on the same label.
May 27, 200521 yr in Toronto Chris kept going on and on and on about the arcade fire, perhaps them for the canadian dates? That would be grand.....he sang a part of their hit song Rebellion on the end of politik at the kool haus. may 11th
May 27, 200521 yr I wish Eisley would open for them again..... :) they have voices of angels, and they're pretty good looking. i enjoyed seeing them at coachella :D
May 27, 200521 yr aww if arcade fire opened for them i'd try to sell my soul to go to one of those shows :stunned:
May 27, 200521 yr ah yes, rilo kiley, eisley, bloc party, arcade fire, all indie gems that'd be perfect, i'd take any of em to be an opening act
September 6, 200520 yr I thought Rilo Kiley for the 1st 2 songs were mildly tortorous to sit through. By song 6 it was moderately tortorous. I was like c'monnnnnnnnn Coldplay. :wink3:
September 6, 200520 yr I saw Rilo when they opened for COLDPLAY. They were briliant live, I was already a small fan, the day after the concert I ran out and bought the cd, and a cute shirt at the concert, you wont be dissapointed!!
