^^I disagree. There's a lot of nice variations in the album version, while the leaked version was so repetitive I went zzZZZzzzz... ;)

what variations are in the album version? If anything has variation it's the original, the album version repeats itself over and over again... :confused:

the leaked is better !!!!! I'm sad they didn't put it on the album :(

I used to like the leaked better. But the new one grew on me. There are things I like about both of them, instrumentally and lyrically. It's a toss up.

I first liked the leaked version better because of the chorus, but the album version has it it on the end and there it sounds even better.

And I think the bridge on the album version sounds a lot nicer.

I prefer the leaked version myself. I just don't think the album version flows as well, plus the voice melody line is just the Kraftwerk riff over and over.

The old version does not fit in with the album. 1st time I heard it some months ago thought it was fantastic as it was new material. I now prefer the album version for its complexity. The question is, how many other 'old/new' songs could appear in time?

I still love the old version. The chorus of the album version it's just so repetitive.

Old thread, I know... :rolleyes: But just had to dig this one up.

 

I've changed my opinion on the album version of Talk after hearing Kraftwerk's Computer Love. I appreciate the new version so much more now... It's brilliant actually. The lyrics we've all been bashing in the album version of Talk are actually a big tribute to Computer Love... The album version is closer in spirit to Computer Love than the Leaked one. :embarrased:
